Round 12 Discussion

Brisbane came up with the best captain's challenge of the season against the Warriors.

I don't think the one last night was any good, it bought them what? Maybe 5 seconds?

So the titans held the roosters to 18 points with Tedesco in the team. I can see why Fifita left

Context is always good. Roosters are without some of their best players and have been playing like busted asses for weeks.

nope ... the commentators even mentioned it on the coverage last night.

your bias against this club means you can't even given them credit where it is due ...
Lol you’re validating your opinion on something someone like braith anasta said. Good job.

Bad new, Manly got belted, hopefully the Knights can do the same for the Storm, and Eels put 50 on the Dogs.

Impressive performance from Penrith.

It could have easily been one of those 30-16 type wins where everything just went one way for 20 minutes and there was hardly anything in it for the rest, but Penrith kept pushing forward their advantage.

Was impressed with their opening try in the second half, they worked hard to maintain that field position and Cleary summed it up with a good solo effort. In the past, Penrith would have kept trying to score off of every play until they eventually crashed and burned. Here, they were able to slow the game down and play out the game at a steady pace.

Nothing went right for Manly. They suffered a couple of set-backs and seemed to be on the end of some dusty calls. Even before the game, I thought it was a bad match up for them as Manly can be picked apart out-wide. Still, in a well beaten team, I was impressed with DCE's effort.

Honestly, Titans really should have won that game. They had several tries denied, they were able to create plenty of chances for themselves but they seriously lacked polish. Their halves really let the side down.

Roosters were playing like absolute shit. Friend was having an absolute stinker. I think if we played them last night, we win. They were well off their game and were clearly missing their injured stars. If it wasn't for the Titans shooting themselves in the foot, and a piece of brilliance from Manu, they would have lost.

If that.

They could have got the same amount of time for a breather just waiting until the very last second to take the drop out.

It was a poor challenge and used at the wrong time. There were question marks over that Sharks pass down the sideline. That's when it should have been used.

Captain's can't challenge forward passes since the Bunker can't rule on them.

What was that penalty for?

Based on the quick replay, it didn't look like an obstruction.

Lol what the **** was that?

Did DWZ forget he plays for the Bulldogs?

Fantastic put down by Averillo.

I remember being stunned by a try Berrigan scored against Parramatta in 07, nowadays you'd hardly blink an eye, they've just gotten so good at it.

You could put together an awesome compilation. Oates is the best I've seen from a Bronco, there's been a few from Morris and Nofoaluma that have just made me scratch my head.

If there wasn't a knock on in the lead up to Ferguson's no try against the Tigers, that probably would have been the greatest try of all time. Ridiculous how he managed to pull that off.

Oh Tolman.

You fucked up.

We are in wooden spoon territory

Napa and Tolman.

Idiots.

If you take the lunatic out of Napa's game he is a really poor prop.
