I read what I said about Glenn being captain in a thread a year ago...honestly my opinion hasn't changed too much. He's established himself in the top 17 now without doubt but let's face it, he's only captain of this team because the first 3 (possibly 4 if you throw Hodges in) choices aren't available.

Good on him - hope he does well - don't see him as a long-term skipper though

Think I was on the money though when I said he is a future captain [icon_wink He's obviously seen as a future leader despite plenty not being there, and TBH I feel this is a little win for me after you laughed off my suggestion that he could be captain one day icon_thumbs_u

I think Hodges said he doesn't want to captain so I would rule him out in the pecking order.
It would be Parker, then Thaiday, maybe after those two retires if Glenn is still around he would get captaincy full time.

I think Hoffman wasn't named on purpose because he's been out for a while but he will probably be a late inclusion an hour before kick off. I just hope it doesn't mean Beale goes to the bench with Baptise dropping off, I want to see Baptise play.

Well, you'd have to say that Parker should play.

Hannant and Thaiday probably not, same with Lockyer. Yow Yeh should get a rest after backing up with the Test but could play.

I don't mind resting the players actually... but Parker should play of course...

Parker and Yow Yeh should be able to play. Resting Thaiday/Hannant and Locky for the long run... I'm alright with that.
