I’d give hunt a go. We have no clue how to use back rowers in attack, it’s been like that for over a decade. So there’s no point putting our front row weapon there to freeze over before he gets any ball.
 
Don't know what Madge does but someone has to be dropped. Looked like we were trying to take the trick option when in trouble instead of rolling up the sleeves and doing the hard yards.
 
I, for one, thoroughly enjoyed Mam continuously cutting out Reece ****ing Walsh for Shibasaki every time he got the ball. Ugh.

I knew from the first attacking set that the boys turned up underdone thinking they’d just have to play out 80 to get the win. No one was hitting the ball up except Payne.

We also need to talk to Pat. He’s been garbage this year, has the Paul Gallen ball hog plodder about him. Hopefully his ankle needs a couple of Weeks off and gets left out of origin.


Did haas leaving unsettle the playing group?

I don't know if we've got the cattle to be dropping players but he certainly needs to make some adjustments.
 
We are still going to win the Premiership and today is just a funny little anecdote along the way to becoming back to back Premiers regardless of how attracious our left edge is with Shibasaki and Mann, Karapani is the shining light out there
 
A few notes that Madge can take out of this. Last 20 minutes of the game is the best we looked since the Dogs/Tigers games.

Walsh must call the plays when Reynolds is in the team. Leave Reyno to 5th kicks and goal kicking.
Ben Hunt is a better ball playing lock than Patty.
X isn't doing anything JHunt can't do on the edge.
Semu brought momentum and aggression.

I'd field the starting side with the team that finished that game.

Patty and Payne prop
Paix to start
X or Ben Hunt as lock.
Put Junt and Piakura as 2nd row

JGos, Talty, Semu, PRiki, GA and Hayze on bench
 
Alternatively keep the same team except replace the following:

grant in Shiba out
Hayze in Mam out
Duffy in Reyno out (Maybe)
Rogers in Paix bench
Bunt in Patty prop

They seem to be the big problem areas in terms of cohesion. Reyno is the only maybe
 
You would think this team would turn up against the bottom of the ladder lost the last 16 game teams for this home crowd. There are Sydney teams that would froth having this many people turn up every home game.
