POST GAME [Round 13, 2026] - Broncos vs Dragons

I love that we have fans that are happier when we lose than when we won the ****ing GF. Real healthy.

"I for one called", "I said", "Hows that GF looking now".

Its actually pathetic. You cannot be a legitimate fan, running here to rub it in to other Broncos fans about a loss.

I've been saying it for a long time. we've got one of the worst fan bases in the league.

plenty of bandwagon supporters

and plenty of supporters who would rather we lose (so they can say I told ya so), than win

Paix is under some heat tonight and rightly so, hopefully these two screen shots show and paint the Pic, I used Cook as the comparison as he would have the most reason to have shit stats, but its night and day.

Not to mention the next try where the winger was always going to arrive late and smashed Walsh in the air.
We've gone from losing a game from jumping in someone's eyeline back to smashing people in the air as long as you can make it look ok.

Yeah feels bad. That cows game was stolen because conviently that weekend they decided you can't look at bloke trying to catch a ball. Such a joke.

Also the roosters game where radly should've been binned and we would've been in prime position to win. Really needed those 2 wins.

I don't think we can blame Mam. He is who he is which is a running 5/8. He's only ever really been effective when the team is on the front foot youand rolling forward. The last few weeks our forwards have been awful and his performance has mirrored that. He's not the guy that's going to get us out of this.

Who from dragons makes our side ?
Any of their backrowers so Willison can stay in the middle and Gos can retire to Charlies (starters, benchies... even Halangahue who can't even make the team), the Couchmans are class... and if it's a choice between Cook or Paix, I'm taking Cook all day everyday.

Probably taking Suli over Shiba as well.

If Liddle played I'm probably taking him over Bhunt as a pure hooker as well.

1. Walsh / Gutho
2. Karp / Feagai
3. Staggs / Val
4. Shiba
/ Suli
5. Jesse / Setu
6. Ezra / Atkinson
7. Reynolds / Flanno Jr
8. PRiki
/ T Couchman
9. Paix / Cook
10. Haas / Loko Jnr Pasifiki Tonga
11. Piaks / Egan (would take over pretty much all of our benchies)
12. Willison / Stewart (would take over pretty much all of our benchies)
13. Carrigan / R Couchman (would easily take over any of our benchies)

14. Bhunt / Lyhkan King-Togia (would probably take Liddle over Bhunt as a pure hooker though)
15. Talty / Lawrie
16. Semu / Guler
17. Gos
/ Luciano (would take so Willison can play in the middle)
18. Anderson / Sloan
19. Duffy / Kerr

He's not the reason we lost but his job is to be the reason we won. That's why 6's get paid so much.

How is the issue of dummy half so obvious to every fan on this forum and on social media but not to the broncos organisation or coaching staff?
I’d love to see the markers that Paix is excelling in to demand being re-signed and our first choice 9?

I'm actually really surprised that he has an average of 13m, I think Gemini meant 13 cm per game

But why do we always have fkn tackle bots for hookers, most of these teams have some creative spark and can run the ball from dummy but we never seem to have had that sort of player

You're preaching to the choir mate. I have been screaming about the number 9 since McCullough was still going around.

In a ranking of average dummy half runs per game, he's in 47th place. Considering he frequently plays 80 minutes that's quite a feat. Of the three players below him, one is Blake Mozer who played 10 minutes this season.
