Pretty hampered with injury. Still rather have him than DCE. Better runner and better defender and likely less of a douche. To each there own mate.

Never been in one but my Uncle has season long corporate box tickets to all the major sporting teams in SEQ, says it's great, heated box, really good food, and usually good company as well, he's become friends with several ex-NRL players in corp boxes.

The Sea Eagles will determine the result of this game. If they turn up and improve on their performance from last week they should have too much experience for a Broncos team that has plenty of upside but is still learning how to become a great team.

HOWEVER, that is a big if and as such I've got to back the Broncos.

Here is where I sit with Manly.

The other day, I said 'Good for DCE' because out of everyone involved he was the only one to profit. Manly are right on the edge of their run as one of the top teams in the competition and by having to pay out the ass to sign DCE because they fumbled around with him initially I believe they have subjected themselves to six years of also-ran status. That isn't to say they'll never make another finals but I can't see them truly competing for another premiership in that time frame.

When Manly began their ascent up the ladder, it was on the back of their forward pack which included such names as Ben Kennedy, Anthony Watmough, Steve Menzies and Glenn Stewart. When I look at their current formation, I struggle to see anybody of that calibre. Sure, they've got a bunch of handy players but they can only make an impact for so long before they begin to wilt - they lack the authority that MADE Manly.

So on the face of it, I think the Broncos should be too strong.

Outside of DCE, the one Manly player I'll be keeping an eye on is Dunamis Lui. This is his open audition to show the Broncos how far he's come and how much he wants to return. If Wayne is entertaining the idea, Lui HAS to have a big game.

Depends what you are looking for. I have been in many corporate boxes and none have been as good as my gold class tickets but if all you want is free piss and food then go for the experience. I generally knock them back these days and sit in the grandstand

Does Lui want to return to the Broncos? Has there actually been interest from the Broncos?

If we are looking for a forward from Manly, I'd look towards Brenton Lawrence instead. I'm a huge fan of Lawrence, and his absence has been noticeable at Manly this season. It's a shame that he's been injured, but if we were to recruit someone from Manly, I think he could suit our style of play really well. Big, strong, mobile, and very quick. He would be very valuable when the interchange is reduced.

You'll be a bit further from the action but the view is great, the box owner supplies food and drinks.

No Corey Parker is pretty big loss. Far more valuable than Thaiday IMO. Still, will be interesting to see how JK kicks for the whole game.

The only way Manly will win is if we give them free metres up the middle, which also means plenty of time and space for DCE and Foran .. and Lyon.

If that doesn't happen, if our defensive line is fast and unbroken, then Broncos by 8. Otherwise, their backline - particularly with the help of Stewart, is a very real worry.

Our goal line defence is not the problem - it's from 20m+ out where the problems will come.

The Broncs are a very well balanced side this year and our halves are going better than Manly's by a long way dice they have been less disrupted and Milf has started to fire. I feel pretty confident we'll win. I think we have a lot of fire power.
