God I hate it when players get their heads in that position against a hard running forward.

Really dodgy style from Manu to collect Thomson, not bad enough to get time but certainly I hope they put him on notice to not do it. The tackler has no defence against that

Poor kick by JT, but in a way he's rewarded as Semi comes up for a hit up, loses it and the Cowboys take full advantage.

God I love watching JT goal-kick.

Good set by the forwards. Tamou got it rolling with Cooper following it up with a good run.

I don't think there is anything overly special about Cooper, but I really appreciate the way he competes and chases kicks.

There is just something special about the Cowboys.

It was beginning to look like the Eels were going to put a score on them at one point but as soon as they scored points in the second half there was no looking back. The forwards just started running harder, JT had a better platform and Gavin Cooper converted a lot of those opportunities into points.

Sort of feel sorry for the Eels. They gave it their best crack tonight but there best simply wasn't good enough and they lacked composure when the game was in the balance. If it wasn't obvious before, it's obvious now that at 4-9 their season is effectively over and they've got to hope that the signings of Foran & Scott yield the results they want.
