I am still very disappointed that Rogers, Bukowski or Mozer (in that order) aren't getting a shot over Bunt.
For me, I genuinely thought that game Mozer broke his jaw was his time to really grab this bull by the horns and make a statement. He did, but unfortunately that statement was: he's not ready for the NRL and may never be (in my opinion).

Offensively, absolutely has what it takes. Defensively, he's not stopping big boppers. Paix isn't a lot bigger but offers far more impact against the big forwards. Buko has a couple of years yet to grow into his body. He's still a baby face, but already is far broader and looks more suited to take over as our future 9.

Mozer's a shot duck for mine. Great talent, just suffers the JT problem. Too small. JT made it work by being an absolute attacking weapon, and also not defending in the middle of the park. Mozer's choice position is what's cursed him to likely never make it big in the NRL. He'll be a massive target in defense, particularly on the line where he's no chance of stopping any decent prop.

I’d say if you watched him in q cup you would think differently I’d say yes he has some defence liabilities but paix making 80 and we still lose doesn’t make a difference mozer is probably our best attacking 9 in today’s game a attacking 9 changes your whole attack which we need

Defence might be a bit better but our attack is stunted because of poor service from dummy half.

Mozer and Bukowski might not be as good defensively, but their service is better, which benefits our attack.

Neither Hunt nor Paix are doing a good enough job to warrant staying in the side.

You could argue with how the game is right now too, that being better at attack is a better drawcard. Not to say being an elite defensive unit won't win you games, but the game is all about attack right now.

He was on the field for like 10mins and decided to throw his body in front of a rampaging Lolo that had already built up speed... despite it being a bad idea as it was 1v1.

A guy that gets criticised for his defence puts his body on the line and came out injured.

He could've sat back and made a "business decision" to try and catch him, maybe get bumped off, but then people would be blowing up that "he missed the tackle!!! sack him"... damned if you do damned if you don't

Has Gordie been talking on 360 again or something

likely

There was a clip on the CM story with the caption "will the Broncos turn around their season" I didn't watch it, but is starts playing without sound when you go into the page and shows CONEHEAD laughing.

Mozer unlucky imo, If he is fit I would love for Madge to give him a run, Paixy is like watching paint dry

But that's specifically my point. He's got to be big enough to be able to handle that - and can't.

If ARey missed it, no-one would care because that's not what ARey's job is. This guy chose to be a middle of the park defender. This is the job!

Literally doesn't matter if getting Paix out of the attack gets us another 12-18 points if we leak another 3-4 tries up the guts.

We do the most red zone defending of anyone - so if you can't handle the job when your back is to the try line, they'll just line you up and keep scoring all day.

There's a reason why he's played 9 games across 3 seasons. Injury is probably a big chunk, but the remainder can't even crack the bench. There's a reason....

With Billy coming back into the squad, Buko looking like a brighter prospect, Paix extended... he's done for mine. Too many hookers, he's clearly well down the pecking order and Buko's got a couple more years to go on his side.
