POST GAME [Round 14, 2026] - Broncos vs Titans

  • The absolute dogshit attack has a massive negative impact on the defence. Team have so much energy with the ball because they don't expend a lot of energy defending. Absolutely no surprise we're dead last in metres gained
  • I think the hooker rotation is the biggest reason for our putrid attack. Hunt's legs are gone, and Paix is hopeless at dummy half. If Mozer's healthy again, he needs another shot. Continuing with the Paix-Hunt combo is insanity
  • Mam has a brick for brains. Overall, he was much better today, but in the biggest moment of the game, he passed up the easy try and went for the individual glory, which lost us the game. We deserved to win though
  • Something is up with Reynolds and Walsh. It really does look like Reynolds blatantly freezes him out on attack a lot of the time, and Walsh was visibly frustrated by it. These are the same issues from last season where Walsh looked so much better without Reynolds
  • That being said, Walsh's body language the entire game was terrible Not a good look for him, and I'm sure his teammates won't appreciate that behaviour. Visibly having a cry every time he didn't get the ball or something didn't go his way, and some of his defensive efforts were pretty poor. While it does look like he's carrying a niggle, he sure as hell shows a lot more effort with the ball than he does defending

It's frustrating but we have had to deal with a ridiculous amount of injuries.
I don't think any team could be regularly down 5 or 6 players from their GF winning side and go much better.
It's such a weak team despite all the adversity. It's exactly like telling your kids that they don't know how lucky they're are.

I noticed this as well, zero cohesion with these two all game. It was almost as if the halves were told to stop giving him the ball at times. The whole right side was completely quiet, why tf is staggs never given the ball with abit of space.

Walsh's play on the chip chase was as putrid as Ezras kick.
Season on the line and he goes for some big catch and spin play instead of putting his body there and just taking the ball to ground.
Selfish play from someone who isn't learning from his mistakes.

Agree with most of this but one thing i will add for walsh in defence is he was safe as houses under the highball which was something i guess.

Yeah, just wait .5 of second and nail him. Why go for the catch.
Id say hes been worried about standing on the shoulders of ponga, but ponga's shoulders have been busy lately

I think in some capacity origin has rattled him, he probably has PTSD from when suali nailed him as well. Hope he finds his feet soon because the club heavily relys on his form

Only geniuses in this team
