Tigers were dreadful but finally something to smile about!

Parker easily MOTM for mine.

Hannant a pretty close second. He's also a better halfback than anyone else we have in the side, lol.

Hodges, Hoffman, Gillett and McGuire were great too.

Form of Parker was the highlight. Good return from Hannant, and the general interplay in the forwards with the ball was nice to see. Good metres made on each play, which was great.

Only down side, again, was the performance of the halves. Honestly, Wallace is like an unflushable turd out there. Prince had good touches, and at least when he runs he looks half decent. Add it with Corey Norman's laziness and lack of interest...

But seriously, our backline just has nothing because the halves give them no quality ball.

Tigers were horrible, we shouldnt have scored 4 of those tries. We would have struggled to beat any other team in the comp tonight.

Pretty obvious were the problem is, i dont even need to mention his name. Absolutely no creativity.

We are so much more effective with the forwards passing the ball to support. Some of the forwards interchange passing was so good, but what made it good was support and forward momentum.

Prince to 7. Wallace too often looked like he took Valium

Well, we did try a new game plan - our forwards decided to pass, not die with the ball, and our defence lifted considerably. I am happy with this outcome

it's a win, basically shut-up shop with 10 to go which was disappointing from a side in their position.

Wallace was dreadful, luckily so were the tigers with 3 tries scored off opposition mistakes rather than anything we really created. Should have put on double with the possession we had.

If we can just get our forwards to be consistent we might go ok for the rest of the year. Still crying out for a half that is good but that will have to wait.

All these "should haves". Look, our game lifted, we passed the ball, the forwards ran hard and passed, and the defence lifted considerably. That to me is a good step forward.

Now for the halves ....

Wallace sucks so bad. Please penrith take him back. We've done our time

Personally, i really enjoyed some of the second phase play from our forwards .... great stuff, keep it going !!

Parker is epic, and has to be a starter for origin 2 in place of Harrison. A truuly worthy MOM tonight.

Hannant/Gillett/Glenn/Hodges/Hala/Reed were also great.

Hoffman is one of the best wingers in the game at the moment. I really hope Hook recognises that and keeps him in a position that he obviously likes playing and feels confident in.

Good win, a real confidence boost.
Bring on the bye for a freshen up, then over to play the Warriors.

The timing on the left side was off ... not just Wallace, but bloody Norman who won't pass. Damn that is sooo frustrating. As soon as it gets to Reed, things look really positive. His combination with Hoffman is becoming a stand out

Opposition was weak but it's good to get a smile back on our faces.

I thought our 2nd row was fantastic again with Corey Parker MOM he was absolutely sensational again and him along with Gillett and Hannant tore the Tigers apart with their great ball playing skills. Scott Prince I thought played a good game and ran the ball well although the try he scored was ridiculously soft. Comfortable win and we were never going to get beaten.

What's happened to Alex Glenn. He looked a shadow of his former self. Or am I missing something?

He's definitely been ordinary this season. I don't think he played in the 2nd half though...maybe it's his injury that almost ruled him out?

Fair enough. Nevertheless, I miss his energy and footwork

He ran some good lines in the first half, some really solid hitups.

It was good to see actually as i reckon he's a shandi away from regaining some awesome form (if he's not injured)

He's put on too much bulk. If he doesn't slim down a bit, he'd probably benefit the team more by playing in the middle.
