Piakura's running against Tweed was sensational. He got between defenders and caused them problems everytime he ran. Bench seems to suit him- similar to Bullmor. Still played 57 minutes and really made an impact with the ball.

If only he played for a club that should have vacancies on it's bench all year.

I think he is better off actually developing in the ISC right now. it is much better for a players development playing bigger minutes in the ISC, rather than 15-20 minutes in the NRL

I agree, but with the way we suffer injuries it's highly likely we'll have far more minutes than that on offer soon enough.

Hunters this week, they are not in the best form but anytime you play them it takes you two weeks to be able to feel your body again- even if you win you don't win.

It'll be good for him and Riki to play that game.

After Thursday night's omnishambles you'd expect him to be looking hi and lo for players with a modicum of footy smarts.

Usually we get some training leaks by now but I haven't come across any. Everyone's in Townsville.

Maybe at halfback with Gamble to the bench, or centre with a shuffle of the other backs. I reckon Kelly is safe. Turpin could be under pressure from Paix, but he'd come through the bench first.

Cobbo should get another game, just to give him another go.
