Forgot to rap Copley.

His runs out of our half were like gold sometimes. Was unlucky to be penalised with possession when he look to have made a break. That call and the McGuire holding down despite his jersey being torn really struck me as odd.

I laughed at that too but it wasn't as funny as Reed waving to the fans after he scored at the death. LOL what a dork!

Pretty stunning performance. I thought we were no chance with the number of players out but the replacements were fantastic. Copley had a cracking game. He ran the ball back like a forward this afternoon and repeatedly bent the Roosters line. He was partly responsible for us starting our sets close to half way.

McGuire and Wallace both had blinders. Hopefully Moose will escape any sanction over the shot. I thought a penalty was more than sufficient.

I love the look of Maranta. The kid's all business - no flashy over the top celebration after scoring, just straight back to halfway.

What do you say about the refereeing? Chicken legs could go from controlling and Origin to NSW Cup within three weeks...

Incredible win. Not many negatives other than the refs but has been covered. Wal was awesome and Teo showed Souths what he was signed for. interesting to see Macca and Hunt on the field at the same time but Macca is the real deal. Thought copley played his best game albeit from running the ball back from dummy half and kicks. Overall very impressed with our boys.

So proud of the lads. The just refused to lose. It is scary to think what this team could be able to achieve over the years given how young they all are. As has already been covered pretty much everyone was fantastic but macca moose and Wallace were immense, Wallace has proven time and time again why the club have stuck by him when everyone else was questioning why we aren't chasing another halfback. Really like the look of Maranta and have done since I first saw him play, looks really comfortable in first grade and is a good no nonsense player LOVE THIS TEAM!!!

I rarely say this but that was a poorly reffed game I could've done a far better job than that. The 2nd Roosters try wasn't a try and Alex's try just after halftime was bullshit LOL. And a few of the penalties given were ridicilous. Still the Broncos played extremly well and it was greatly encouraging too see the young squad play with such enthusiasm and competitiveness the future of the playing squad is in safe hands. To win without 7 regulars is no mean feet. Great game by Ben the ripper and Wicked Wallace (Peter was man of the match). Season is back on track Well done fellas real proud of ya.

great effort from the team yesterday.

I'm proud of how they played, but i really would like to see that kind of effort and enthusiasm more often in the second half of this season.

No reason we can't stay in the top 4 and give this comp a real shake :smile:

In fairness to him he was only giving the ppl with the "Reed it and weep" flag a bit of a wave, but it did look a touch dorky.

We're going to miss Te'O more than this forum gives him credit for. He's a second Glenn and comes up with big plays defensivly as well as a great ability to bend the line in attack.

He gets the credit he deserves, he can produce performances like this, but unlike Glenn and other backrowers in the side, consistency for him just isn't there, though to be fair to Te'o his not the only one at present, Thaiday's form this season hasn't been that great either. I don't think there is anyone on the forum who didn't want to retain him if possible either, unfortunately the salary cap makes retainment a lot tougher then it should be.
