Sharks are terrible even with their "stars" back. The pressure will be on our boys to keep them tryless with it looking like they will go three games without scoring.

The Sharks are just too vulnerable on the edges. They should be going hard after some decent backs.

Chris Sandow yells "How much are they paying you" to the ref and gets ten in the bin! Hilarious and to make it worse, Storm score where he would have been defending.

That's a positive. It's about time Korbin started, particularly with a forward exodus coming. Think Kidley to halfback is a positive too, he's not been effective at hooker and they need to know if Clydesdale is part of their future. Thought Tapine has looked promising in the limited viewing I've had too. He's another who should be regularly making the bench at the expense of Fa'alogo or Newton.

Newcastle finally break their 7 game losing streak with a comfortable win over the Cowboys. Final scoreline won't show it, but it was 26-6 with less than 20 to go and the Cows just scored a couple of late and controversial tries to shorten the gap.
Game will mean little come September but nice to see the Knights rewarded for trying out new combinations and to be fair, the win was overdue. They should have beaten the Tigers really but just found a way to lose it.
Cows were busted and it showed. Just too soft in defence and lack the combinations and personnel in attack. They may have scored 28 points, but the first try was a gift and the rest was really just a combination of a devil may care attitude and the Knights switching off something fierce towards the end. That and inept refereeing as per usual.
I don't know if you can really say the Knights turned a corner or anything at the end of the day. I suppose there were some improvements, but I saw them put in a similar if not better performance against the Tigers and just fall short. The difference tonight is the quality of the opposition. Cows would have struggled against Cronulla tonight.

Driving home from work i was listening to the call on MMM and heard that they had 2 minutes to go and were 14 points in front.

First perfect round of tipping for me in a while. Been burnt far too many times by the Cowboys derping it up against easybeats in the road.
