What did Haas do that is making people love him more.

18 runs, 200 metres, 40 tackles, no misses, no errors, 1 offload, try assist and a line break assist. Last play of the game he runs almost 100 metres to outrun the sharks player to deny them a try. 10/10 game from him.

That is unbelievable.

Upgrade his contract, but before he signs put a tracking device on him so he doesn't escape.

Also more entertaining when your team is up by a couple of scores with less than 15 to play and close it out.

How about how early he started reacting.

When the long ball went to Kennedy, Haas starts dropping behind the line ready to make a cover tackle... literally the only one who did.

The other thing is he needed to make the play just to put the game to bed, because nowadays the ref calls time off the second a try is scored in the last minutes.

So even though there were seconds left on the clock it is very likely they would've still had another tackle available to score a try.

It's the efforts like that, that make champion players. He's just had a monster game with the highest effort of any player but he was still ready and willing to run 100m to stop a try that doesn't change the result.
