[Round 17, 2022] Broncos vs Dragons

only issue I have seen from Hosking today is he likes to let the attacker run to him rather then press the line in defence, not the best habit to have.
The whole edge has to press, so not his fault. It will be someones job to lead the line and being his first game, probably not him, maybe Lee. Can't have everyone charging up differing amounts.

Good: we're winning.
Mixed: Brenko.
Bad: Disappointed with Willison.
Ugly: Niu will need to score two more tries to make up for how shit he is at everything else.
What happened to Willison?

7 runs for over 100 meters has been the pick of the backs in terms of involvement…like I say other games I agree with your view 100%…to piss on his cornflakes so far today seems like personal dislike…

Its not, i just dont think he's been that great. You might, i dont.

For such a young and inexperienced team I think they are doing really well. Left at least 2 tries out there for inexperience and stupid errors from players that wouldn’t be in this team if it wasn’t for origin and our injury toll so I’m happy with it so far.

Without good ball Staggs doesn't get involved, his first big runs where off some good passes by Niu and the try was allowed by Gamble and Reynolds supplying excellent delivery.

The point is he never gets involved unless he is setup to be, and don't get me wrong when it happens he is the best in the game when that happens but otherwise he will be invisible.

A few of you blokes deadset have your hand around your member while you slag off Tesi Niu

It's his first game back in a heavily depleted team, he's been quite acceptable, good even

I think his try was all him to be honest... Tesi just passed it along without engaging the line at all, but that's probably what Staggs needs.

No need to **** around with it just get it in his hands before the defence can get up on him and let him do his thing

Nah it is his fault because he tends to hold back from his surrounding defenders, it's happened atleast 4 times notably that I saw hopefully that was more of a one off kind of thing and it doesn't happen in the second because if your on the back foot that kind of thing allows teams to steam roll you.

When we had our winning streak paix was coming on before half time. Kevvie has seemed to go away from that plan and has been giving Billy more minutes.

Really? Staggs has been everywhere. I don’t know if it doesn’t translate on TV but Staggs trying everything he can. Also, how is that a fair comparison with Manu as when the big guns are out he plays either 1 or 6. Not sure what more Staggs can do this game from centre.

Manu even at center gets involved, just like Hodges used to. Staggs is very reliant on being given early ball. People might think its harsh, but he's supposed to be one of our leaders and a key player on good money. I expect more from those sorts of players.

Bloody errors. It's to be expected with such a patched-up team, but we really should have been 2-3 tries up with those chances.
