Walsh has had strapping on his knee for a few weeks now. I would like to see him rested this week though, Sailor can clearly do a great job himself.

Yeah looks like it could be below his socks as well... started after the tackle on Luai... didn't look like much happened.

Not sure if it's a cork though... because they usually chuck a pad under the strapping

This looks like a stabilisation of the MCL. The guy steps hard off that leg and could easily strain it a little. Doubt it is on danger of any proper tearing at his age, but it's definitely a good idea to support it at any sign of aching or pain.

I agree that resting him for the weekend is a good idea. No need to rush him back in with decent options and small niggles after a stellar performance. Problem is, will he want to rest. Guy seems like he just loves playing footy. Addicted to the rush.

2 games and he gets a week off anyway. I think he’ll be fine.

Predicting the Titans will be up for this and want to give a **** you as a send off to their old coach...... like a lot of teams seem to do.

We need to be on to win this.

This will be a tough game, they've been a bit of a bogey team last few years for us. Add some spice with a sacked coach - it could get ugly if Broncs are slow out of the blocks.

Don't know what to expect from this one but nevertheless I'll see you all at Suncorp...

You gotta give us more than that. What’s the feeling toward this decision?

Also, I assume Holbrook isn’t coaching this week right?

I'm a little conflicted to be honest. On one hand, I would have liked, as Holbrook said, to give him a shot at finishing the season with most of our injured players back now. Been a pretty cruel start to the year in that sense. Especially given Des doesn't actually start until 2024 I believe? However, I can also see the negatives around having a coach with the writing on the wall being in the ear of players for the rest of the season etc. I'm not sure. I'm not knowledgable enough around that sort of decision making.

On Des, not sure how to feel. He's clearly got some runs on the board but recently its been a bit erratic his form. I think we've got the makings of a very strong roster during his tenure though so hopefully he can produce something. A little nervous based on how the Bulldogs were after he left though but hopefully he is on a little bit of a leash on that side of things.

I think the best part was how we kept it under wraps though. Been a common theme recently with all of our signings/news. Very impressed and Mal can sod off as far as I'm concerned.

Finally in a time zone where I can watch the game at a sane hour. Currently in Saskatoon where the game will start at 10 PM Saturday. But if the current trend of this holiday continues, I will be legless at that hour anyways.

Lenihan coached the Bears to two comps and a 56%-win rate over over his Cup career and been at the Titans since 20.

He will make it fun on Sunday and remind them they're playing at Lang Park on a Sunday arvo against the Broncos.

That is not a sane hour. But I am old.

I’m glad he’ll remind them of that, otherwise they might end up at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Still better than soapy balls and loud music at training I guess

I think regarding Titans, the reason certain individuals were not made aware is because they are the ones that would of leaked it straight to the media.

While I think Titans have had some good recruitment to set them up long term there is questionable performances in how they play regarding the coaching, Des is a good option imo.

I feel like the titans sacked their coach this week just to help them get the win this week. The stats are crazy on teams winning after sacking coach.
