POST GAME Round 17 - Broncos vs Panthers

And I believe we exposed Penriths weakness. Kikau may have been underdone but if teams target him it may pay off.

Much improved effort and they showed a fair bit of heart and grit, especially in defence. On the negative side though, Dearden has a pretty weak kick on him for a halfback. Needs to get a bit more leg strength or something.

Not much you can do really when you are kicking from your 20m line every set just about.

Dearden certainly got a lot of practice kicking tonight

That challenge where SoS passes the ball back and Cleary knocks it on and the bunker even says this happened, then said the challenge was unsuccessful, That was highway robbery, we where still in the game at that point.
I don't think it was as clear cut as you guys do. He was in the motion of passing it but from the replay it's not clear it actually left his hands before Cleary made contact. I think it probably did, but it's not one of those obvious ones where the ball rockets out the back after making contact with the defender.

Regarding the kicking it’s very simple
Two players blocked our markers every time they kicked, our forwards just stand back 5 metres instead
We didn't actually apply any kick pressure. Stopafartie sort of tried
