Ref be like:On an unrelated note, we received a lot of 6-again calls on 1st or 2nd tackle within our 20 m zone coming out of trouble. How can the team request a penalty from the referee in place of such a useless call?

It comes down to a few things, they have been allowed to play into form, having a lot of home games is also very helpful. Their form then leads to benefit of doubt from Refs and a preferential call. This lets them push these things further and further. Contrast that to Brisbane's fall from grace. They will most likely win the minor, the GF is a different story. I think it will be Roosters for the 3-peat. But in the end, in my little conspiracy world, this has all been orchestrated.Cleary’s a ****. As is Luai. Whole team fucking around with blocking and obstruction in the rucks all night.
People shouldn’t be cheering them to win the premiership
Man, Jordan Riki looked so passionate tonight! Even with that crusher he was so disappointed in himself. I am so happy we have him. Lovely short ball from Dearden. I am so excited for the future. Good signs. I only hope we don't suffer from the same BS that the start of the season handed us.
Grabbed his neck, heard the whistle, jumped straight up.That so called “crusher” was a joke. And whichever player milked that penalty is a complete asshole. I’m pretty sure it was Cleary.
Far out I give you something resembling credit and you jam that down my throat. Although I will admit I wanted to reply with just "fook haha". Bring on next week! This K-Style knows whats up...
You can thank the Storm for this little conundrum. Bellyache and co quickly realised that it was more advantageous to give a six again call early as opposed to a penalty as it allowed them to reset their defence without allowing the opposition the opportunity to get out of their own red zone. a number of teams have cottoned on to this and quickly adopted the same tactic. On an unrelated note, we received a lot of 6-again calls on 1st or 2nd tackle within our 20 m zone coming out of trouble. Might be accused of being salty about Fifita but he should be out of the team next week for Riki. There's no way we should carry a lazy forward who's signed elsewhere. 23 tackles and 12 low impact runs. **** off to the Titans.
Mate, we agree on so much. You can thank the Storm for this little conundrum. The refs just seem to act like automatons. Surely they are capable of distinguishing this rort on the 1st and 2nd tackle and use their discretion to penalise it.
Unfortunately, our guys have been so flogged by this 6 again rule they are becoming gun-shy to wrestle or even linger in the tackle for anything more than a second. It has resulted in our defence structures looking like something out of a game of touch footy.
Finally, on the bunker stuff up. If the NswRL comment on this they'll say it was an unfortunate mix-up and right it off as "these things are a one-off". We were still so much in that game and that call crucially turned the momentum.
Remember the Canberra game when the bunker stuffed up our call? Just another "one-off". Funny how these "one-offs" seem to go against us repeatedly and make them NOT a one -off.
Does anyone have V'lander's email addy?
It’s a simple fix. Just make it a penalty inside your own 40m and six again from your own 40m onwards. How obvious does it need to be for the refs to realise that teams are now taking the piss out of the 6 again rule? It serves the attacking team nothing at all to give them one extra tackle coming out of their own end. Grow a brain.
It is simple, but the NRL threw the rule in without testing it or even thinking about it and this is the result of that. It’s a simple fix. Just make it a penalty inside your own 40m and six again from your own 40m onwards.
or even better, just sack the whole rule because it’s stupid.
