Round 17 Discussion

Bulldogs have been getting a leg up since the 50 minute mark.

That’s insane! How are they going to police that correctly? They going to get a stop watch out? Time it from when the balls released? Haha wtf

Coach the halves to face backwards every time they pass it, there will be atleast 2 sin bins every game

I can't wait for the debate on League shows when a half wins a game by having someone too scared to smash them after they've thrown a dummy.

I can see the same "experts" that called for the crackdown backtracking.

Wow. Just wow.

Anasta was right. That was a debacle.

Cecchin says no try. Klein says Smith maintains possession and will support the on-field call. Cecchin had to remind him the on-field call was no try. Klein overturns and says try.

I didn't think they could give that. He bobbled that.

A lot of similarities in this game by the knights to our game. Gavet in the bin, kick offs going dead (thx Darius), stupid errors by knights....

Soon uhh they went with the onfield decision.....then gave it a try?

And knights somehow still in it. They have some grit this year.

The refs really fucked up tonight though. They will need to have a meeting to reiterate that only the media darlings are to be protected.

Bulldogs won’t be getting the spoon after all

A bit harsh to blame Moga there. He took the initial hit-up to start the set-off and the Bulldogs defence had Hunt well and truly covered. It was up to Pearce to set up something there, either go wide to Ramien or set up their biggest long-range option in Watson. Giving it to your replacement centre as a hail marry was basically a surrender.

Outside of the opening five minutes where Pearce threw one of the best passes of the season, the Knights were very very ordinary. They looked like a team that look fatigued from the representative season and they just lacked that spark.

Canterbury were far from polished, but just kept turning up and when the Knights defence unraveled they capitilised. 14 points in the time Gavet came off was just enough to seal it.
