I can see Kevvies logic, because he has gone for a team with minimal errors, Mariner while very sharp in attack at wing had a horror show last week, Arthars is very safe soo long as mariner isn't in his way for catches.

Its probably where we need that experienced center/winger in backup to give him a break.

Yep, absolutely. That rule has got to go. If they're worried about captains pulling a Smith then put the fear of god in them by bringing back the 5 minute bin for whinging too much.
It is certainly not a rule that a player nor coach would want in the game. It is a game-management rule It is a marketing rule. It is a rule that was made by someone who has only a surface-level understanding of how the game is played.

I miss the days of Hodges running from dummy half. It seems like a forgotten play. Cobbo and Mariner should be in there doing it

the only problem with that is destabilising or resetting the structures. I liked Rogers, tbh, solid and offers just as much as Jock. Not sure why he lost out, but someone surely knows
I like Rogers. Offers exactly what Madden does. Nothing. However, at least he has a boot on him.

I would agree, but I'll give him the next half to make his case, he tends to play better in the 2nd.

What’s with the trend of fullbacks taking hit ups on the 4th this season?

Haas will probably stay on till Willison gets back on.

Atleast when Walsh is on he basically does the 7s job that Madden fails at which is managing the line and where to go, he understands the halfback role better than Madden, you can see how much more smoother our sets are this game.
Madden taking the line on a lot more tonight which just creates a split second of hesitation now in defensive line giving Walsh more time to ball play
