Why does our goal line defence always look so frail and fragmented. I don’t understand why we always hold off and look to be retreating, the opposition playmakers always look like they have a mile of space when they drift and so often get to just run themselves

We conversely always look so flat in attack and always seem to be marked up on. I don’t understand how a professional outfit who spend day in day out together can look so impotent and uncohesive
