Haven't read the live thread, but the Eels got at least 4 or 5 bullshit piggy backs out of their end for the most inocuous shit. Credit to the Broncos to holding them out, FMD the Eels never deserved those opportunities.

Pereira might have been shoddy in defence but him snotting Gutherson was worth it, as was Staggs tossing him aside like a rag doll.

Would cobbo have done any better than what pereira did though?

Lots to love about tonight, sake though the commentators were death riding us. "Plenty of time for the Eels" down 20 with 30 mins to go. They end up scoring, "here we go, is this the comeback?" "We know they can score points quickly" then we end up being up by 16 for a bit before scoring with 10 to go and "that might just seal it for the Broncos" lol. Some things never change aye.

one thing that was terrible most of the knight was tesi niu defense.

HIs attack is coming along nicely but man his defence has to be the worse fullback in the comp.

He also looks clueless catching bombs. wants nothing to do with them. if we are going to be any sort of force in finals we need niu to fix that or get tmm back.

Tesi probably offers more in attack but defence wins finals

There was a moment maybe 15-20 minutes in where Flegler went for an Eels' player's collar near the sideline, almost a Tallis moment and Fleg was gunning for it, the Eel just got to ground tho.
