Both of those teams are actually terrible. We aren’t playing well. Each week there’s people on this forum who stop watching or threaten too because of how badly we’re playing, then we tin ass a 10 minute run and win. I just want us to play well for 80, which we haven’t all year. We’ve also had two byes, and now the bottom three teams coming up along with another bye. We should win all of these games and that would be great, but if it’s by playing poorly, we’re just preparing ourselves to get butt ****ed by the storm In a months time.
No offence man, but with comments like this it's pretty clear you aren't watching any other games outside of ours. (not that I blame you.) The standard of football is really poor overall this year. With pretty much everybody unable to put in 80 min performances consistently. It's why we're seeing such a weird top 4 and just a general close ladder with everybody jagging wins off each other.

Your comments about storm don't really track either, just screams you haven't watched them play at all either lol. They have been ridiculously inconsistent this year. Bordering on poor. Uncharacteristically so.

IMO, one major difference between us and them thus far is that they've managed to scrape by and close out a few of those poor games where we haven't. Not saying we're better or that we will beat them, but they aren't all high and mighty as you're proclaiming this year neither. Nobody is.

I would very much like a win that is definitive.
No more half time deficit comebacks.
No down to the wire deciders in the last 2 minutes.
No more blood pressure medication.

Just a solid ass whooping with the win coming in the first half and no danger of losing it.

This. A consistent performance. What a weird desire.

True. But something is very right when we finish strong.

Wonder if we lose Ezra as cover for Munster given his (Cam's) father just passed away. Cannot imagine Cam world be right to play on Wednesday.

Sad stuff 😞 at least he got to see him captain the state to a victory.

Word was that Munster would be back into camp ready for Wednesday night. If he feels up to it and wants to play then I hope he has the game of his life for his dad. What a special moment that would be.

Gives me chills just thinking about it.

I am just glad we look to be building into the year instead of looking like we are about to fall off the bandwagon again. I am really hoping to see Hunt to 9 soon with Billy on the bench after the bye. Paix has been alright but I think Hunt will be better and hopefully not pass above Reyno's head constantly. Reyno was able to put Mam in space as soon as Billy came on so I am hoping he can do that in the first half with Hunt there. For this game just want the team to get a convincing win.

Very interesting team list this week.

Possible ins: walsh, arthurs, gemat, haas, hunt, jensen, carrigan....

Likely to be most but totally up in the air which ones aren't coming back yet...

I think we just play our strongest team again and you hope that you can give Patty and Payne some rest during the game and also later in the year.

Bye the week after this game so go all in on this one and put some serious pressure on the Top 4.

Wahs have an easy run, but some key injuries could throw a spanner in the works... and dogs might get some tough games at some point
