Te Kura in 23, which is good to see. His ankle injury (syndesmosis I think) looked bad live, I thought he could be out for another few weeks at least. Anyone know if Semu is injured or just not making the cut?

I am going to the game, hopefully we play the full 80
 
I'm baffled (but chuffed) to see big BTK listed on the reserves. I thought he'd be out for a few more weeks. Is there a chance he'll come onto the bench to replace Jensen? Even if we get 15 minutes out of him he's a big enough body to worry the Tits.
 
I'm wondering what the issue is with Semu?

He's not injured.

Was more thinking about needing another big man.

I haven't watched a replay of last week as yet, but played 60 odd minutes so guessing he did a stint in the middle
 
Surely Smoothy drops out of the squad. He’s the only one that i would say needs changing. Talty had a good run and I think he deserves a spot. Not sure what Madge is seeing in Smoothy that we are missing. Arthars probably not 100% yet.
 
Loving the fact Madge has nailed the hooking rotation, and extra happy that Cobbo didn't get the number 5. I'd have been filthy if he was retained after last week... great signs!!
 
I liked Smoothies game last week.
I don't think Haas is any chance of playing TBH.
I'll be surprised if Tino backs up but if he does that's probably their best team for a while.

Feel a bit for Paix.
 
Fun fact.

All 4 starting halfbacks this week for the top 4 teams are players Titans let go.

They have a pretty good nursery down there on the Gold Coast, some of the best players in the game came from the schools there, but their recruitment & retention is diabolical. They lose so much talent.

Yea Smoothy performance last week has been overlooked a bit. He's a decent player in the middle.

Yea feel a bit for Paix. But he's still young, and will get his chances. I hope Hunt can handle the first 50min in the middle - a bit nervous about him playing 9.

He's had plenty of auditions. We took the lead in two of the last three games when Billy came on. The other went Paix's way. I don't think too many would be objecting that Billy won the 14.
