PRE-GAME Round 19 - Broncos vs Tigers

We are going to annihilate them regardless of who plays and who is rested. First time all year I've whole heartedly believed they're going to get slaughtered

I'll be more than happy with an injury-free victory by 10 points.

That bench...
Being generous under the griffin rotation Molo and Hala would get 20 minutes max combined, that leaves Hannant to handle the rest and Stagg, well having both him and Lowrie in the same side for essentially the same role doesn't really provide much variety or impact.

I would like to think this will be an easy win, but the Tigers have been a side that have really pushed us over the years and threatened to cause upsets.

For some reason I remember Round 17, 2010 being one of those games.

Benji got a length of the field try off a shit Wallace kick and they were up 12-8 at HT, I vividly remember when Suncorp put up live odds the Tigers were paying like $15 to win and I just said to my brother that is an absolute steal cause even if we scored again I doubted we could hold a thin lead.

Sure enough after leading 14-12 for ages the Tigers go over in the 78th minute to win it

Errr, I remember that. Pissing down with rain, wasn't it? Chip kick in the corner with Gillett coming painfully close to stopping the try but not close enough. That game just had that feel of impending doom.

Get out. The Tigers couldn't have been the underdogs that night surely? Brisbane were without all their Origin stars while Wests were unaffected because 'Robbie isn't Origin material'.

Despite how the finals played out, I thought pound for pound, Wests were the second best team that season. Once the Dragons got past them, the premiership was theirs.

From a Broncos perspective, I just remember it as another one of those games we let slip away. There were so many instances of that - against Canberra, Newcastle, Sydney, Penrith etc. Brisbane were pretty ordinary that year, but so many other teams were that had Locky stayed fit, Brisbane would have made the finals easily and probably would have caused some headaches while they were there. Especially with the backrow and that Locky/Folau combo.

I remember thinking that it was one of those losses that'd harden the younger players for later. Knowing that one play would lose them the game, which would lose them the two points, which was ultimately what kept them out of the top 8. Reinforcing that every play is important, regardless of whether it's at the start or end of the season, in the first or last minute of the game. There are a lot of players from that game though that I don't think ever learned that lesson.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Vidot come in for Kahu, he seemed pretty hampered by that corked thigh.

Heard Bennett is resting 5 players.

Edit: Never mind. Got told the wrong info.

That tigers bench has to be the worst in the comp.
