PRE-GAME Round 19 - Broncos vs Tigers

Bennett going for the throat. Wants to keep momentum I guess. They can always bench the stars with 20 to go if it plays out to plan.

Moses is probably the weakest link in their defense from what ive seen. Taupau can be dangerous no matter who has around him.
It should be exciting.

I thought he had an ankle complaint ??

Not that I know of, I know he twisted his ankle in that tackle but I'm pretty sure the cork is what was hurting him.

Plz clarify 1910

Brooks is probably worse.

Seems like the Tigers have tried to put all their efforts into beating the big names, they put on 38 and 34 against the Dogs and Souths this season.

They've been mostly crap apart from those wins but they could still do some damage if they decide to show up and put on points early.

I like Stagg , I like his commitment , I like his previous previous service, I like his courage and I liked his one appearance for us this year, all the good stuff and we won too. I hated the crap served up while WB was away although to be fair, both Henjak and Griffin were in charge when we had some good wins. I hated what what we became in the eyes of the rest of the comp, also rans and'just another team'.

This year we are a force and we are still vulnerable to a defeat we shouldn't endure. This shapes as one of those games and a loss to the West Tigers would undo months of work although as the old saying goes, you learn more from a defeat etc etc...

We should dominate as Souths were doing in the latter stages last year. No more scrappy wins, a win with emphasis is now the expected norm.

I'm thinking about it. Is there are reason? I mean, besides it being the first Sunday game since we were sponsored by Powers?
I think they're trying to turn it into a family day - there's going to be a bunch of activities for kids. Probably a smart idea - when I was a kid I got to go to a heap of afternoon games. These days kids get 1 Sunday a year to go see the team.

I don't like it when they do that.

Don't get me wrong, I got nothing against kids. It's just the fuckwit parents come out and complain that I'm too loud.

Back three of Boyd, Maranta, Kahu - best back three in the comp. Safe as houses.

Hodges, Reed. X factor and mid-career bloomer.

Milford, Hunt - best halves combination in the comp for teams still in the running to win

Parker - best lock, best forward in the game right now. Bar Thurston, he's the form player in the comp.

Glenn, Gillett - solid back row. Glenn has been building a great combination with Milford and Reed on that left edge.

Blair, Thaiday - Improving. These two are both the type of players you want in a grand final, especially Thaiday; he's got an extra gear or two that makes him a champion. Bennett knows that and has got the best out of him so far this year.

Macca - quietly building. The spell in the backrow rather than the bench really adds to our game.

Wallace, Dodds - need work... Would love to see J Offa firing off the bench.

Parcell - quietly blossoming.

Oates - brings another dimension to the backrow.

Bennett.. fucking legendary what he has done in 6 months.

Corks galore post game- they were banged up.

I bet Milf had a beauty.

I watched as Grub Reynolds came in to tackle him and lead with the knee ... right into Milfs thigh !!

I really couldn't believe nobody mentioned it in the call as it was as plain as day.

I think everyone is past thinking that anything will happen to Reynolds so they just let it go. Seriously there isn't a more protected player in the game. He could rip off someone's head and piss down their throat mid-game and get a week with the guilty plea

What? No! He is picked on by the refs! Just ask him!

That's no good. .

Certainly sounds like neither of them are kicking the door down to replace Vidot / Parcell, I'd say they'll stay in QCUP for the rest of the year, unless there's injuries / suspensions.
