Glenn in the centers would be ideal

Glenn would be pretty handy in the centres though i wouldn't mind seeing Beale there and Maranta on the wing. is Hoffman injured or playing this week??

Makes sense playing Glenn there. effectively he just has to shift one space left, and Te'o can fit in next to him. Nothing stopping them alternating as required either.

Nothing much getting through them either ..... great defenders the pair of them.

Would expect the broncos to climb all over the warriors right from the jump on friday ... this is the type of spot that demands a mammoth performance - off a bye, off a loss, and with revenge in mind from earlier in the season .. helps too that the warriors are off a breezy win against the dire Titans ...

We should beat the Warriors. They are a one-dimensional attacking team that scores plenty of points but can't stop them.

The Warriors attack is many things, but one dimensional it is not.

^^

yeah. warriors attack is brilliant when its on form.

we'll be rollin this week and beat them comfortably though.

Johnson and Maloney have been playing really well the last few weeks.

The Warriors will be a tough challenge indeed, regardless of whether or not Hurrell plays.

A win here will help set up a good run into the finals ..... can't wait

Looks like Hurrel hasn't come good. Vatuvei it is.

WARRIORS: Kevin Locke, Bill Tupou, Ben Henry, Lewis Brown, Manu Vatuvei, James Maloney, Shaun Johnson, Russell Packer, Nathan Friend, Ben Matulino, Feleti Mateo, Simon Mannering, Elijah Taylor. Interchange (from): Omar Slaimankhel, Sione Lousi, Jacob Lillyman, Steve Rapira, Sebastine Ikahihifo.

I like their idea of playing a back on the bench with a forward starting. However, who's going to play centre for Omar Slaimankhel? I don't think he's up to first grade defensively and I question whether Tupou or Vatuvei would be all that handy positionally.

I wouldn't mind Griffin going with a similar tactic but with Whitchurch who could at least offer us some value in the backrow if things go awry.

Whitchurch on the bench would be a good move IMO. He can play left wing and Copley moved into the centers.

Mannering to centre and Vatuvei to the backrow perhaps? God knows they should do everything within their power to get Vatuvei away from the sidelines.

Broncos team to play the Warriors, Friday 7.30pm at Suncorp Stadium:
1 Josh Hoffman
2 Gerard Beale
3 Alex Glenn
4 Justin Hodges
5 Dale Copley
6 Corey Norman
7 Peter Wallace
8 Josh McGuire
9 Andrew McCullough
10 Petero Civoniceva
11 Matt Gillett
12 Sam Thaiday (C)
13 Corey Parker
Interchange
14 Ben Hunt
15 Ben Teo
16 Ben Hannant
17 Mitchell Dodds
18 Dunamis Lui
Coach Anthony Griffin

Gillett starting defending next to Norman gives me the shivers.

Pretty big call to put Hannant on the bench but McGuire has been awesome lately. I really like the move to put Glenn in the centers

Very happy to see McGuire rewarded for his outstanding form. And I think Hannant will be great coming off the bench as well.

Hannant has probably been our best forward over the entire season, not just the last 5 or 6 weeks. Dunno why they are afraid to bench Petero.
