PRE-GAME [Round 2, 2025] Broncos vs Raiders

Thank god they're coming back from Vegas off the back of a good win.

We will win, but I'm thinking it is going to be a hell of a game getting there.

No Tapine or Savage, we're in good nick - Tough game, but we should win this comfortably.

And the boys must be thankful we're getting the Canberra game out of the way in March - no minus 2 degree game this year.

There is no way this game will be played at home, If we have to move outside SEQ, would rather it at Townsville than Sydney.

We're a much better team that the Raiders ...

But, I'm always wary when playing them because they are the grubbiest team in the league, at least they have been in the past

It's in Canberra.
lol, I got it mixed up based on how the teams were named here, guess this lack of early home games works well for us.

You never know with Canberra, but with our expereince I feel we might do better than before against a team like them.

Never thought I’d actually really want to know the answer to this but is Shibasaki ok?

Also, I’d play Te Kura over Jensen, he’ll learn a lot from these grubs.

Raiders have looked really up for it in all their games so far.

They will not be a pushover like rorters.

They looked super fit and super fast against warriors… but they lacked a little composure.

The game plan from us tonight looked fantastic… Reynolds did a lot of kicking, but Benny chimed in with some great kicking as well.

Teddy who is an elite defensive fullback was getting caught out numerous times.

Weekes up against those two… could be telling.

We completed at 84% in the wet and were at 94% early on… raiders completion rate at 69% in bone dry indoor conditions and coming back from Vegas.

They will definitely be up for this game, but for us this year it will be all about setting he platform with Payne and Patty, and putting the opposition under scoreboard pressure… then grind them into the ground off Reynolds and Bhunt’s kicking game

No need to Rush Ben, he will get a decent load of games this year, I suspect once he gets in he will stay like Willison last year.

Also hope Marty breaks in soon, he looks ready to do some damage, this week was certainly a safe team and given the result it would be hard to change it yet.

They will also be without Savage and Tapine though. It’s going to be a good gauge though, both us and them looked really good round 1 but both opponents were atrocious, so not sure how much you can take from the form guide.
