The boy’s egos seemed to have gotten the better of them, looks like they’ve forgotten how hard they worked to end up winning it all last year… I thought last game was a good reality check, surely this one is.

Anderson in for Shiba, and hopefully piakura can get healthy, mozer needs a crack and who would have thought SOS Walters
 
Our Kick Defusal only 27%, too many errors, too many missed tackles.

We got through to the finals last year on the back of excellent discipline, thats gone now.

Boys have got some soul searching to do.

Been hearing that the reality check was the WCC loss. Then the reality check we really needed was last weeks outing against Penrith. No doubt the reality check that we really, really needed will now be this weeks pathetic showing.
Not sure what we will take out of our 80-0 loss next week but.

Does any other team consistently lose the penalty and 6 again count at home games more than us?

Some of the penalties were dumb and warranted but the 6 agains just do my head in. My big hope is that one day we ditch the 6 again trash and just go back to real footy.

Again just too much dropped ball and stupid decisions. Surely Jetski is back to Q Cup as he is so out of his depth in the NRL.

I disagree that Parra are a decent team. Whoever they play next week isn't going to kick out on the full from the kick off, they probably won't convincingly win the penalty count and their opposition isn't going to put down as much ball as us.
 
I think we need to evaluate where our team really is at.

Last season, we conceded big scores, we just scored more than we let in. We were never a defensive unit to grind a team down, we snuck into the top 4 and Walsh went on a run, sadly that's the honesty of it. Was it luck, a fluke? I don't know, sure enjoyed winning the comp though.

Teams are just coming prepared to play us, because we're the champs. Madge needs to get another gear out of the group, 0-3 looks very likely.

Honestly I think teo is very overrated as a defence coach even last year we were never the best defensive team in the comp unlike 2023
