Round 2 Discussion

Storm are just a class above.

Years upon years of success* has given Bellamy and his senior players the confidence they need to handle any given situation and they invariably finish the better team more often than not.

Cowboys are on the brink of becoming a very good team but still haven't quite lived up to their potential. Plenty of improvement left in them and I'd hate to be playing them next week but they've got a long way to go before they earn the wraps they've been given.

* denotes that yes a lot of it was illegally acquired. Don't make me walk the plank guys!

Smith and Cronk have really evolved into their own class. Truly special footballers........

The Storm looking too good for everyone at the moment.

Bronco affiliate Chris McLean scores two tries to help Norths to a comprehensive 22-4 over the Jets in the first game of the Intrust Super Cup.

There's a couple of former NYC Cowboys players in that Norths side. I wonder if that's Woolf's doing?

What a team Melbourne are travelling from Europe winning the WCC, back to Melbourne winning in stifiling heat then travelling up to Townsville beating a top 4 contender 32-10 in warm conditions. You can't help but take your hat off to them. Feel sorry for the rest of the team outside of the big 3 they put in just as much as the rest of them and are great players as well. Never knew Hinchy had speed like that on him would like too see him get a NSW spot this year.

Not trying to take away from anything you said and mostly agree, but you can see the affects of the big 3 on other players when they leave the club. For example look at Nielsen now that he isn't being spoon fed from those three, he is average at best

Did Ben Hunt play or is he just having the week off??

Take any teams 3 best players away and they won't win a game all season lol. That's not a storm-exclusive scenario.

Just this round the bulldogs won without there three best players. During origin we often win without more than three of our best players so what you just said is utter garbage... But hey we can't tarnish the mighty storm can we

No....we should all just sit around and wish long term injuries on their players instead.

That'll make us all feel better about ourselves. :001_rolleyes:

Wishing injury on any player is a low scum act IMO.

**** the Storm seriously. They've never had to deal with Cronk, Smith or Slater being out for the season. They would be screwed.

Greg Bird and David Mead... Hope that hair color is for charity! Yuuuch.

Failders.

It'd be nice to see the refs make a call and not go the video ref everytime.
