I believe Carlin Anderson & Tom Opacic are due back from their injuries this weekend.. I don't want to see any more Maranta, I also doubt that Gillett will be back so soon after what looked like an AC injury (Usually 3-4 weeks) Ese'ese needs some time in ISC as well, he's been well below average.

Kahu a month
Gillett- scans back today
Wallace- ears still giving him problems

In that case, if Kahu, Gillett, KNik, Reed and Wallace are all out, I'd go with:

1. Boyd
2. Oates
3. Opacic
4. Roberts
5. Seve/Isaako/Anderson
6. Milford
7. Hunt
8. McGuire
9. Macca
10. Parker
11. Glenn
12. Blair
13. Arrow

14. Pangai Jr
15. Joffa
16. Thaiday
17. Ese'ese

After Blair's best game at frf all year you put him at 2rf?
I'd prefer sua/tpj get some edge minutes.

Yes I would put him in the second row simply because I rate Arrow more than Su'A at THIS point in their careers. Su'A will be a superstar but he isn't yet and it is no surprise to me that we have struggled most defensively when he has been out there.

1. Boyd
2. Oates
3. Reid (if fit)Opacic, Seve
4. Roberts
5. Maranta/Eden (is he back)
6. Milford
7. Hunt
8. McGuire
9. McCullough
10. Blair
11. Su'A
12. Glenn
13. Parker (c)

14. Wallace
15. Pangai Jr
16. Ofahengaue
17. Arrow

Maranta was ok last week and I would rather gamble with ok but experience than a newbie. I would go Sua ahead of Arrow due to the fact if that cursed centre spot goes down again, Sua can play centre more aptly than Arrow. Arrow is better suited to lock as oppossed to a back rower or centre. Blair needs to duplicate last weeks performance in his preferred spot. Just realised i forgot Thaiday, so him to take 12, maybe Sua to centres. Or 11 with Glen to centre. Mind you after last week, i still think Sammy is more valuable from bench.

Anderson would have to play a few games in QC surely before starting for the broncos.

Opacic is racing the clock to be cleared. Friday night would be pushing it, but if by some small chance he's available he should be selected. The Broncos need to select players in their natural position, the chopping and changing is hurting the combinations and preventing the side from really gelling.

Even if Opacic is ruled out, I'd play Seve before Glenn.

If Gillett is out, Thaiday keeps his spot on the right fringe.

Arrow deserves to be rewarded, so I'd have him on the bench ahead of Pangai Jr who could do with a break. Wallace and Ofahengaue round it out, with Su'A (pending on injury) earning the last bench spot for balance.

I'd keep Maranta in the side as well.

Well we dont want to rush anyone back from injury (*JK). Is Sua injured? I heard he had been suspended. TPJ just hasnt had much chance to get in the game past few weeks but i think he will stay.

Well, no the Broncos shouldn't especially after what happened with Kahu and Reed time and time again.

Injury or suspension, either way it depends on whatever kept Su'A out against Souths.

I think it was just because Wayne didn't want an 18 year old playing a rep game and a senior game 3 days apart.

Then why did he let Gehemat Shibasaki play 20s?

Also, just so people are aware, Reed and Eden were classified as "Out with long-term injuries" in the Broncos article last week, won't be seeing either of them any time soon.
