Round 20 Discussion

Walker continues to assert himself as one of the top centres in the game with a soft try against Croker who is just so ordinary in defence.

Rabbits lead 4-2.

How does Brett White continue to receive a starting gig?

Handed Souths the ball and Reynolds makes no mistake landing a pin-point chip kick straight to Jonstone on the outside.

8-2 ktc.

That offload was so dumb. Sam Burgess must have been calling for it.

The forwards are just trying too hard to promote the ball.

They were gifted a golden opportunity there through that Johnstone knock on/Te'o offside off the goal line drop out and they just turn it over.

They'll concede the next try.

In the mean time, Dylan Walker must be challenging Konrad Hurrell & Steve Matai for form centre of 2014.

And there you go, off a spilt bomb from Sauiluma, Goodwin scores off a solid scrum play.

12-2 Souths.

Watching the Raiders play, I seriously don't feel that bad about Friday night.

At least things look bright for the future.

Another golden opportunity and they just blow it.

I reckon the video referees enjoyed the finish so much they just handed that try to Sauiluma.

I agree with the commentators - ball touched the dead-ball line as he grounded the ball.

For those that missed it.

Lives of his credentials as being a Storm player in the salary cap years as well as being a former Blue and Kangaroo

On that left side picture Pete I can make a case that the point of the ball is hanging over the sideline rather than actually touching it. I'm happy for it to go with the ref's call either way. It touched the line at some point but can't say for certain another part didn't touch the grass in field first.

I don't think the ball is actually down at that point in the left hand picture, it actually looked worse from that angle live.

In this match it doesn't matter but if this was a Grand Final I wouldn't want to see it given.

I'm at peace with it being given once the ref sends it up as a try, likewise not when sent as no try. There isn't enough evidence to overturn the decision either way. But I thought the same about the first Hoffman try last Saturday too...

I had that exact same thought....well, at least we have the raiders to feel better about ourselves.

they would do worse than hiring Hook tbh. He'd at least turn them into so,etching that resembles a first grade footy side.

I would like to see a shot right before the ball was grounded. Hopefully there will be footage of it up soon.
