The hit from Arthars was deemed worse than this one from Holmes.

Arthars arm connected with the head of a player who had dropped significantly ... Holmes shoulder connected with the head of a player standing upright

That’s complete BS. If I am parra, I will go check with Nrl why no suspension for Holmes as Sivo got 3 games for similar tackle.

It was abysmal refereeing both ways and we definitely got some benefits out of it.

There was one "incident " where the commentators were saying Cobbo has lost the ball while trying to play it . Not a whisper from Ashley ?

JD was pissed. They didn't play AS bad for what he made out. Their errors and mistakes came mostly from pressure. They were right in the game and could have won.

Cody Walker choked badly .
Dropped the ball several times . From best play maker in the game in Origin , to can`t even catch the ball a cpl of weeks later .

All assumptions, no one actually knows what went through his head in the moment.
I can only assume he tried his best “Campo Goose Step” impression… timed it completely fkd. Another step and it’s a great aggressive hit up. Silly boy, I’m certain he won’t try it again

Campo`s goose step was more a stutter step . He didn`t really lift his knees and usually tried it to baulk cover defenders not go over / through them .

Really? Why doesn't it happen 100 times a game then? Because it's not natural? Because it's an intentional act?
I’m not defending it, perhaps I should have put a question mark at the end of it. I’m trying to reason as to why he would do it.

Most people might have missed it (or i was hearing things) ... but I think Kevvie is taking a leaf out of Bennett's book to try and keep these guys grounded.

when interviewed by the Nine commentators after the match, Kevvie was asked if we have what it takes to go all the way this year.

his response was: "No" then he added some qualifiers, along the lines of "when we're on we have a seriously good footy team ... but we still have plenty of areas to work on"

While the penalty count was against us, I think we really benefited from some 6 again calls. Don't have the exact stats, but we seemed to get a few on the 4th and even 5th tackle.
Perhaps in this game, I don’t know the exact figure either but as a general rule of thumb.
This season has seen a marked improvement within the squads mental capacity to find ways to win, either despite the officials incompetence/corruption, or our own individual errors and poor play.

Only once this season has a team actually deserved to beat us, which just happens to be the Bunnies at Suncorp.

That’s pretty impressive.

We got 3 6-agains and 3 penalties. Yes, some were close to the line and on 4th also, but we were scoring from 50 out on the 3rd or 4th too. I still hate the 6-again rule.

Maybe Fittler is the only coach that can get the best out of him

Damn. He's definitely still hurting - so glad that we have him and are treating him right.

If they kept him, they probably win that PF final against Penrith last year and the rest.
Best signing we've made in the last 2 decades IMO. He's the biggest reason we've went from spooners to contenders. That's not underselling Kev, but IMO Reyno is just that important. The team was crying for a leader, and he's that in spades.

It's better put that kev is the cause and reyno is the result. Kev knew the roster he wanted and he and ikin went out and got him. Reynos impact has been the result. It's incredible to see.
