Didn't think Arthars deserved to be binned. Can't see him being suspended. Not even sure it's worth a charge.

We got lucky with Taupau. It was stupid and dangerous, he should have been sent off. Arthars should have been a penalty at most because the damage was done by Taaffe falling so rapidly, so we got unlucky there but that was an all round awful refereeing performance. Klein just could not help but get in the way of both sides. It’s a concern when a bunkered Badger looks more competent than the on field ref.

I honestly don't know. It brings back old Campese memories. People wanted him rubbed out of Union for that. In my gut I'd be giving Marty 2 weeks and thinking it's more about what might have happened than what did.

Like I said, I think we just have to wear this one as a sign of the times like we did with Patty's hip drop. In retrospect that was too harsh, but it did set the table for that action to be taken seriously.

It was a pretty shitty game all round really, ball control was horrendous, but by the end we really did pummel the **** out of them in the most satisfying way.

I panicked a bit when Billy came on for Ezra, and then doubly when Jesse got binned out of the blue, but ultimately we thrashed them with one arm behind our backs.

A shitty game, but a truly terrific win.

I'll be hugely surprised if Marty will get off with less than 4 or 5 weeks, he is a Bronco and the NRL will be reactionary as usual and want to appease the uproar created by Fox.

The thing is nobody was actually hurt in the tackle, so using the NRL's flawed logic that injury should be taken into consideration when applying a penalty Marty should receive a bit of leniency..................somehow I think they will forget that little rule they created and just go in hard......you know..............'to make an example'.

So much of what Jensen does goes unnoticed because he just gets in there and does his work, but **** I appreciate him. Just quietly goes about his stuff but even has some ball playing in him. That little pass for Willison’s try was very nice.

I was calling him the quiet achiever last year .
