Once again, if you adopt the Robinson game plan of kicking high and long to Walsh, the Broncos have no reply and just self-destruct. Some of those exit sets were just horrible.

Just needed to be patient and take calculated risks. Instead nobody wanted to put their body on the line and they just panicked.

A loss had to come at some point, but it just serves as a reminder that you can't trust this side to do anything.
So if the opposition kicks to our fullback we lose.. awesome

The worse fullback that you want would also give up the tries and he would offer way less in attack and potential
You’re right, solid NRL fullbacks would never jump for that bomb and would routinely make the most errors of any players in their teams…

And I’m the one that apparently doesn’t understand “ball”…

🙄

We were 4 from 7 and two of those games it was Reece keeping us in it.
I don’t deny he certainly has his moments.

My problem is with how many ignore his faults including apparently his coach and captain, based on the presser…

Just home from the game. Destroyed after the offside call.
Looks offside but I'd like to see a shot from the other side because the camera angle will naturally look like Walsh is slightly in front.
In the end we didn't deserve the win.

Todd was calling set restarts inside 40 instead of penalties 3 at least, how weird was that, you'd think the bunker would tell him after 1.

Ref aside we weren't physical on either side of the ball. We barely got inside 20 and when we did we looked clueless. Such a generic game plan waiting for parra to implode and they didn't.

Walshie is killing us with his frantic all or nothing plays. When will he calm down and get a quick PTB when he makes a half break.

Staggs , **** me, you'll go a long way to see a more disinterested effort. More interested in doing his hair walking around watching the others bring the ball out.
He really is a barometer for this side.
Pat back to being a ball player. Do we need another ball player? or do we need a hard running forward.

Kobe was good. Billy was good.
We actually looked threatening when Hunt came on late and inserted himself at first reciever.

It wasn't 6 again set restarts in own 40, its the wave of the arm to signify a set restart after a knock on. Was at the game also and explained it to the bloke next to me who questioned it. It happened twice after contested kicks.

No bell went off, which means its a set restart for a knock on or handover. Todd maybe waves his arm around the same for either call, but he wasn't giving 6 agains instead of penalties, he was giving neither. Just letting players know it was tackle 0 after the knock on. (Which it obviously was and everyone knew anyway). Todd being Todd.

Where will we find a solid nrl fullback to replace Walsh

Yes thank you. I was at the game but surely I wasn’t the only one noticing the set restarts in the own 40. He did it heaps of times. I was wondering if I was wigging and missed a rule change. How did nobody fix that up.
Same. We were asking people around us what the **** just happened then it kept happening.

Shoosh, he doesn’t like facts…

That % actually increased when mam returned..
Ezra return led to 2 game loss, his winrate only increased once Walsh was injected into the squad, so Ezra mam stat is actually directed related to Walsh’s stat through part coincidence. So no I won’t shoosh from facts as they are leaning into my favour massively here, an emotional argument would hold more power in this conversation.

Yeah that's what we kind of worked out but I've never seen that signalled like that before.
It must be something new because everyone was asking the same question.

Mam has had 2 good games and all the rest he has just been non existent, one of them was the loss vs St George and the other was the win against bulldogs

If they're getting to half-way and they have a half-decent kicker the Broncos are boned.
I guess we'll just have to wait until 2030 when Reece is off contract then .. I always suspected it was 24th year is the charm
