Early Mail

Brisbane - Matt Gillett, Tevita Pangai Jr and Sean O'Sullivan are slated to return. No word yet on Andrew McCullough after he left the field early. It didn't seem like a serious injury, but we'll find out the true extent in the coming days. Brisbane were expected to name Tom Dearden, but it appears he picked up a serious ankle injury against Easts on Saturday.

Warriors - Karl Lawton and Kodi Nikorima picked up injuries in their sides horror loss against Canberra. Warriors dummy half stocks are shot at this stage and they'll likely have to move Jazz Tevaga and Adam Keighran into the role to fill the void. Harris-Tavita will likely go into the halves for Kodi.

Penrith - James Maloney has been charged for his trip against the Bulldogs and is facing a week on the sideline. Jarome Luai picked up an eye injury in the Panthers loss against the Bulldogs but is expected play. Viliame Kikau has served his two week suspension and will be a massive inclusion for the Panthers.

St. George Illawarra - Paul Vaughan and Zac Lomax will be monitered after both players picked up injuries. It appeared Vaughan badly dislocated one of his fingers, while Lomax suffered a hamstring strain in the warm-up.

Gold Coast Titans - Jai Arrow is due back after spending the last six weeks on the sideline recovering from ankle syndesmosis. Michael Gordon suffered a hamstring injury in that horrible loss to the Roosters and could miss the rest of the season. AJ Brimson is a week to week prospect with his hip, and if he's unavailable it remains to be seen who will fill the void.

Newcastle - Kurt Mann suffered a serious knee injury and his season could be over. It puts Brown into a vulnerable position where Ramien is by far a better replacement, but he's been publically told to look elsewhere. At this stage, Sione Mata'utia will likely move into the centres with Hymel Hunt shifting onto the wing once again.

Canberra - Nick Cotric, BJ Leilua and Ryan Sutton could all be available for this clash against the Roosters. In the case of Leilua, it's just a matter of whether he should make his return in the NRL or gain some match fitness in the NSW Cup first. With Sutton, he was given a Round 21-23 time-frame, so it depends on his rehabilitation.

Sydney - Jared Warea-Hargreaves will return after serving a one week suspension.

Souths - Sam Burgess is facing a week on the sideline after being charged for a head high on Matt Moylan. Damien Cook suffered a burner in his elbow, but should be right to play against Melbourne.

Melbourne - Christian Welch suffered an ACL injury and will miss the rest of the season. Jesse Bromwich only played 24 minutes, but should be right to play as he battles a painful sternum injury. Tui Kamikamica will likely come in for Welch in the only change for Melbourne.

Team lists are in.

Penrith are in a spot of bother if Maloney is found guilty at the judiciary. Luai has also been ruled out which means they'll have to rely on NSW Under 20s Five Eighth Matt Burton in a big season defining game.

Maloney was found guilty and will miss this week's clash.

That's a lot of pressure on Matt Burton to perform.

He looks an excellent prospect. Destroyed QLD in the u20's game i think it was.

Manly are not doing us any favours against the Warriors tonight.

Jahrome Hughes out for the Storm.

Everything’s coming up Papenhuyzen

(@Fozz)

Kearneys gonna be doing the Haka again in the sheds

Kicking tonight in this panthers sharks game is going to be a nightmare

Need the Panfers to win, and then for us to beat them next week.

Panthers all over the ruck! I’m not looking forward to next week they’ll get away with murder against us.

If this is the Panthers side we meet next week, we are in real trouble.

That should be a try IMO. WTF is with that decision?

And if it was a double movement then why wasn't it a penalty?

IMO fisher- Harris still had a hand on him when his ball carrying arm hit the ground so that was enough for Morris to be down.

Or maybe they were just squaring up for the dumb decision against us.

Forward pass there leading to a Sharks try

Hook definitely has a future as a colour commentator. Excitement plus!!!
