I'll admit that i didn't tip us this week, i just don't think we can get the points without so many topline players out

After watching Super Freak's highlights packages, there's one thing in particular I've noticed has been missing the majority of this year- Milford and Hunt taking on the line as a pair.

All our best tries last year were Milf to Hunt or Hunt to Milf. The quick interchange of passing between them was nothing short of brilliant at stages last year (see McCullough's try in the prelim last year for the best example).

This year they only seem to link up when spreading the ball for the sweep play. I think it's indicative of a whole team problem with supporting the ball carrier. Milford and Hunt are 2 of the best ball runners in the comp, but without support they are easy pickings for the defense. 1 against 13 very rarely works out in the 1's favour. It's as much of a sign of an attitude problem as the poor defense we're seeing of late.

Everyone is calling for them to take the line on, and rightly so. Unless the team's attitude lifts we'll just see them taking the line on in vain. Running the ball only works if the defense thinks you MIGHT pass, and vice versa.

Great post and sums up so much of our attacking woes - I've been on and on about the lack of the Hunt+Milf combination and mate, you've nailed it.

I remember a few brilliant inside-outside passes between the 2 working together that even Elliott referred to in one of his weekly vids on nrl.com.

Individually and as a combination: 2 of the best playing so far below of what they are capable of ... which is shredding opposition defensive lines.

I believe MILF is very determine to proof hes knocker wrong . Tipping him to score two try an possibly first try scorer. Other prediction is Bennie Hunt man of match. Lotsa money to be made tonite, particular, boyz to win by 13 plus. Get on to it lad ! Woohooo
