I knew it was coming so I decided to not watch and go to the mess hall but I didn't think it was going to be this severe a beating when I returned. Off to sleep now and a tough reality check for the team but it will stand them in good stead. In future when we are going well again WB can pull out the dvd of tonights fiasco.

Manly have exposed all our weaknesses with their relentless speed. This has to be the most important lesson to learn this year. We must learn from it. Under real full on pressure, our defence has become porous, the attack disjointed and the mental strength and attitude has vanished. Tonight was probably our first real test this season and we largely failed ... and did we ever miss Blair.

Well not much to say. They are just not on tonight. Hopefully a good wake-up call. But blair out and parker at 30 percent our forwards have struggled. Milf and hunt have been poor behind this. As long as we can get a few tries the boys can take something from the game.
