Isn't gamble injured? I don't think he has played in the QLD Cup or been named on our extended bench for a few weeks
hasn't played unclear on timeline when he comes back from calf issue, even when asked by insiders they don't know the timeframe yet.

The knights are beyond cooked and the game is at Suncorp. SURELY we win this game. If we don't then old Walters needs to come under immense scrutiny.

If we lose to the Knights, it's season over.

Great opportunity to play ourselves into some form. If Kev can’t pull his head out of his ass and make the required changes to the team list on Tuesday I am not gonna waste my time turning the shit on only to ruin my mood for the weekend. Time for this lot to pull there fucken heads in.

I don’t see where our points come from other than Oates scoring a try or two. Need to just grind out a win and get back to basics. Our right side attack has gone completely cold.

you really are an idiot ...

He's already badly blown a chance at a top 4 finish, now it's looking like the same for the top 8. If you don't think powerbrokers are raising some eyebrows at that within the club, you're kidding yourself.

Energy should not be a problem for this game. We have a 9 day turn around (vs 6 days for the knights)!

They are missing Ponga and Klemmer, so we should have no excuses!

Knights might be without O’Brien after they lose this week and if so, that makes them a much much harder proposition.

We’ll be fine. Quite a few players who just needed a run tonight, they’ll be much better next week, as long as Kevvie picks the right team.

I'll just copy paste what I said last sunday before the team was picked because it still applies, including the reasons down the bottom I gave for them.

What I would pick(assuming Walsh isn't coming liked rumored).

1. TMM
2. Oates
3. Staggs
4. Lee
5. Cobbo
6. Mam
7. Reynolds
8. Jenson
9. Walters
10. Haas
11. Capewell
12. Riki
13. Hetherington

14. Paix
15. Flegler
16. Palasia
17. Gamble

This is still dependant on Gamble not being injured, the club haven't given any info about it but it has limited Tyson to the Gym.

Martin has to be picked, expereince is needed there and aside from Injuries and a big drop off he should stay there for the rest of the season, I fully believe this year we can win and it will require TMM at the back for that to happen, we need calm heads in this team.

Also when Patty comes back keep him as a Prop at the expense of Palasia, have him and Payne start the game but reduce their minutes a tad to keep our intensity.

Too bad we don't have a prop that can play 80.

I wouldn't mind this bench in the Knights game if we did.

14. Paix
15. Hosking
16. Flegler
17. Gamble

While we have props in Carrigan and Haas who can play 80 you don't ever want them doing it.

I can't agree with your team selection though, Hosking is an edge forward only having flegs to rotate 2 props won't work, if we do go with an edge, Gamble can't be picked, so the best option is Paix with two props and Gamble.

Also Robati is fit again and should have another shot I think before hosking because his last game for us seriously asked the question if Capewell should move to centre.

That's why I said that's the bench I would go with if we had a prop that could play 80 and not burn out. If we had that, we would only need to rotate Flegler and Jensen leaving a spot open for another edge forward.

I would give Hosking a crack over Robati. He looked good against Dragons and Titans, was a handful for the defence and was strong defensively.

What prop would you play 80 though?
logically in the entire competition the only middles that I know are capable are Carrigan, Haas, Cotter and JT2.

All of which play way better playing around 60 mins(excluding Cotter), the only middle position that is fair game at 80 mins is Hooker but that's an entirely different type of player.

1 middle injury or HIA and your fucked beyond belief, no modern Coach would be that wreckless.

This is it.

I missed the Roosters game, was Tesi really that bad?
Yes. His lack of urgency/effort was a factor in their first 3 tries. He wasn't solely responsible, others also let us down, but he was a factor.

First try they stripped us for numbers on the right edge, but Tesi was caught inside ball watching, instead of coming across at speed he was stop-start with each pass, almost walking at times. No urgency to stay with the ball, he may not have stopped the try but didn't even put himself in the position to try.

Second try was a grubber, Tesi won the race but failed to ground or punch it dead, got half a hand to it and the Roosters cleaned it up.

Third try, again not mostly his fault, Angus isolated Reyno close to the line and barged through - but Tesi was defending up in the line near the posts and went up hard with the rest of the line, then walked as soon as the ball went past him - not coming across in cover.

Their other 2 tries were similar to the 1st and 3rd, he was stuck in mud in the defensive line at the posts and not following the ball at all. Maybe he wants to play lock.

He doesn't show FB instincts, at all. A few games in or not, you can't teach that shit. How natural does Mam look in his position after what, 8 games? Cobbo was the same. I know they're special, but FB's either have "it" or they don't, right from day dot. No offence to Tesi, but he doesn't have it.
