God I love beating the cheating chooks.

I live down the road from the Roosters leagues club. I was about to walk down in my Broncos jersey and give it to all the Roosters fans.

I got halfway out my front door before I remembered that the Roosters don’t have any real fans… does anyone know Uncle Nick’s address?

But anyway, that's an impressive win, their forward pack just tried to bash us and the boys absorbed it and then returned serve.

Outstanding first half. 2nd half ruined by the referee trying to even up the penalty count and manufacture an 'exciting' finish.

NFL have used technology to draw a straight line across the field for decades. Live. How hard would it be to put that in for the bunker for situations like that?

Basically they are saying it was too close to comfortably say he was onside, so they support the live decision which was offside.

Didn't really look offside on the footage though but hey

That was mind boggling. There's no way that was off side. Imagine a gf decided by that. There's no way Atkins can continue in 1st grade, surely. I get the bunker went along with it but he was probably sick of over turning his calls, there was about 5 calls against us in a row that captains challenged proved Atkins wrong, and they were all legitimately very, very wrong...

Being critical, Herbie impeding the chaser for ezra's second try was stupid and unnecessary. Even though the chaser was no chance, given the ref's performance, herbie gave them an opportunity to deny the try which I am surprised they didn't take.

Broncos can't give the officials any opportunities to get involved, because on most occasions they will.

He was actually OK.

He remained behind Mam, and he is permitted to put himself in a position to receive the ball in support. The Roosters player on the other hand wasn't permitted to put his hands on Herbie like he did though

Nice win. Second half seems a lot worse than it was with the ref denying 2 tries. Second half we were a bit scrappy at times but we were scrappy at the end of the field it doesn’t bite you on the ass which is alright. We put in a platform to get the win from the first minute and we were dominant. Roosters weren’t even that bad so it was a really dominant display. Great win, bring on the Cows. That’s finals well and truely confirmed with a guaranteed 2 points still to get.

Also how many times have we seen them freeze frame back and forth for three minutes trying to prove a player was onside in the past?
