Round 22 Discussion

You like kitchenware Cowgirls? I hear you like kitchenware

You can see him turn side on trying to avoid the ball.
As others have said, the fact that he put his hands up and actually interfered is 100% on purpose. You don't get out of the way by putting your hands up where the ball is going.

Holmes seems to have improved quite a lot at fullback in the 2nd half of the season.

Sharks have won this. Assuming no last minute try, Cowboys move to wooden spoon position on the ladder with a negative 110 P/D, with the Eels on equal points but sitting on -102 P/D.
Sharks score in the last minute, missed kick. Make that Cowboys on -114, lol.

Media trying to blow up what Fifita did after he scored as something directed at the coach.

That wasn't the case. It was directed at Dymock who told him he wasn't running hard enough but it still hasn't stopped the media trying to make it into something it's not.

Anyone else been impressed by Brimson at fullback?

Also agree with comments about Holmes above. Sharks would be stupid to not do everything in their power to keep him at the club and in the #1 jersey.

Watching the highlights, why that Holmes try in the first half was denied is just baffling.

Clifford makes a defensive decision on Sorensen and tackles him. That's fair game, that's not an obstruction.

I think even Moylan was a bit hard done by. Asiata had no chance of stopping Moylan, and he also had the opportunity to try and stop him but used Gallen to his advantage and milked it. They really need to start punishing defenders for doing that.

Yeah, Brimson looks quality too. QLD always seem to have a shitload of gun fullbacks coming through.

I'm still most excited about Ponga, think he'll be far and away the best, despite his big slump right now. Which can happen when you are 20, recovering from injury and in your first real season, I guess.

I don't think Cows cared about that game much anyway. It's all about JT's last home game vs. Parra next week - i.e. Taumalolo taking the early guilty plea. Scott missing this game with injury ...

Cow by 20+ next week.

While I think both calls were little harsh on the Sharks (but not necessarily wrong), anything that discourages the endless block plays is a good thing IMO.

Tough to tip this one.

It could go either way. If the Warriors turn up to play, they win easily. But you just don't know which Warriors side is going to turn up.

Rhyse Martin made a very brief cameo for the Bulldogs ISP side.

He was on the field for the kick off then went straight off and didn't play. The Bulldogs exploited a loophole just so he could feature in the finals for the ISP side. You have to play a minimum of 8 games to be eligible for the finals.

Oh what a rubbish penalty that was.

What the **** was Maumalo doing?

He just stood there.

Very stupid pass from Elliott.

If Fusitu'a caught that, he was away.

Damn that was some soft defence from the Warriors.

Bulldogs targeting their middle third and it's paying off.
