Even more so because Cam Smith and Thurston have both done it this year yet no action.

The rule changed very recently and the players were informed before the matches last weekend that any intentional touching would see a charge. It was minor and in my mind doesn't deserve a week off but it was avoidable and they were told to be mindful of it.

Just win FFS.

I blame our recent form on people typing this incorrectly.
Nope... Morkel is responsible.
Blowtorch already placed in car for next week's game at Suncorp.
Those sensitive to the scent of burning human flesh might want to stay away...

I certainly blame the loss to the Roosters on him. That reminds me, I'll need to pack the bat.

Was just watching the replay from last week, so why can't we turn Su'A into a centre? He's big, he's strong and he looks quite quick. Opacic looked good on a wing, so why couldn't we give it a go and finally get rid of Maranta?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he WAS a centre as a junior, but the club has spent the last couple of years turning him into a back rower. They probably don't want to set him/themselves back a few years by changing his position again.

The biggest challenge for the Broncos will be themselves. If they can turn up as a unit, they will give themselves every opportunity. However, if they continue to take soft options and lose the ruck they will find a way to lose the game.

If they do turn up, look for the right edge to star. The Dragons left edge defence can be very vulnerable and the Broncos have had tremendous success targeting Gareth Widdop in previous encounters.

The Broncos will have to be patient, but if they can win the ruck and create second phase, they will be able to score some points on this Dragons outfit that struggles with unconventional play.

If the Broncos can improve just 10% in defence tonight, we will win this.

Dragons have shown a bit of heart in their losses, some fight, but they are still clueless in attack.

If our defence is good, we can destroy their confidence and frustrate them, force them into forcing passes, kicks, trying to come up with hail mary plays.

They did that last week against the Dogs, and they didn't work.

Darius needs to be on his game. Widdop will definitely put some grubbers through and last week Dragons scored their tries from those grubbers because the fullback was nowhere to be seen.

From most reports he played in the forwards (2nd row or lock) throughout junior years and played centre when playing at his rah rah school. I thought he should have played centre instead of Glenn a few weeks back. Maybe too inexperienced yet reading NRL back plays though?

Only problem is we have struggled to play unconventional lately. Fingers crossed.

I didn't even know the game was on tonight till I just read a Broncos update on Facebook. :tape:

Patience will be the key tonight. The Dragons defence is decent so we cant just expect to roll down their end and score every time in their 20 zone. Repeat sets and building pressure should be on the cards for tonight

That is our weakest link. I can't recall the last time we were able to do that... not even last year could we do it in a sustained fashion.
