If Gamble is in for this game I reckon we're a better than evens chance of rolling them as he'll niggle Hughes and Munster all night.

I'm heading out to the game too. It will be my first this season because of - reasons 🤫.

I'm confident that this is teh game we start making a statement with our defence. I know paddy is missing, but I just get the feeling that the boys will look to up another gear and see if they're capable.

Broncos by 4 in a low scoring game.

From Broncos.com.au:

"Gamble played 40 minutes as planned before being rested for the second half, while Piakura and Willison continue to play well for the Devils with both young forwards again testing the Capras defence."

So Gamble not injured and seemingly in our first grade plans you'd think based on that.

People.

Gamble won't be playing. he left the field injured on the weekend in the QLD. he would have been a long shot before that anyway.

we definitely can't get away with just two forwards on the bench, especially while Patty is out

I wonder if Mam's a bit banged up, he's been looking slow coming out of some contact recently. It might not be the worst idea to give him this week off given we are 95% likely to lose simply because our brains can't deal with the Storm jersey. Good to see Gamble is ok after concerns on the weekend too.
This scenario (next year with Walsh at fullback) is why it would be fantastic to have Te Maire as a backup half and Gamble on the bench.

Yeah I’m a little lost RE Paix. The club has made it clear Turpin won’t be here next year yet he is in the 17.
Paix is consistently better then Turps imo, combine this with the fact turps won’t be here next year I’ve got no idea why Paix isn’t in the side.
Billy has been doing a solid job, still not a premiership winning 9 so I think that really is the area the club needs to sort out in the off-season.
Also kev, get Gamble back in this side.

what are you lost about.

Paix came back from injury in poor form and has been sent down to the QLD cup to find it. which apparently didn't happen last weekend.

we need him to find were he left his form quick smart, so we can piss off Turpin

We'll lose most likely but it won't be a flogging. We looked a lot better against Newcastle than many fans are giving us credit for and it isn't a surprise we were clunky, a lot of our guys were just back in or underdone. Suddenly Cobbo returns to form and to an extent so does Reynolds and despite some woefully one-sided refereeing, we still ran out comfortable winners on the back of strong defense. We'll go close this game.
No sign of rain this weekend so hopefully Selwyn will make a few less errors. This will be his night.

As per broncos website....

Through that winning streak we were on, Paix played some good footy. If he is here moving forward and Turps isn’t, I’d have him in the 17.
Defensively turps has always been solid, unfortunately offers nothing in attack.

I get that I somewhat agree with you however when the same argument is applied to TMM over Tesi Niu, fans are happy to see Tesi in QLD Cup

Team Tips: Playmaker Albert Kelly is due to return from a Lisfranc injury. Ezra Mam should hold his spot, although he was absent from training on Tuesday with Tyson Gamble filling in according to 10 News’ Ted Roker. Mam has a stomach bug and is set to return for training on Thursday, meaning he will have one day to prove he will be alright to play. Meanwhile, Teui Robati may be a chance to slot onto the bench returning from an arm injury.

Team Tips: Craig Bellamy revealed Jahrome Hughes is eager to return but Storm medical staff may keep him on ice for another week due to a shoulder injury. Felise Kaufusi may also return after taking a week off following the death of his father. If Kaufusi returns he will likely shift Tom Eisenhuth back to the bench. Bellamy also revealed he is planning to deploy marquee player Cameron Munster at fullback dependent on the opposition. Therefore, expect Nick Meaney to be named in the No.1 jersey and the pair swap dependent on the situation.

Nofaluma is only new the storms structures and Xavier tends to be caught on no man's land so hopefully we find abit of space out wide.

Hope we win but if not will be critical to not cop a blowout with +/- so important…win 2 more games and maybe finish 6th, but with 5 to play 8 in finals and so forth, all the others are already in finals mode and with momentum. All teams covering missing stars but we have really struggled since HF out.
Guess we will know our fate ( and the teams mindset )in the opening 5 minutes .

This could be a season-defining game for us. I'm confident of a win.

Broncos 28 - Melbourne 18

The games against the storm are the easiest for me to watch, the story has already been written.

A, I know we’ll get fucked on by the refs.
B, I know they’ll just talk about Melbourne.
C, I don’t expect too win
D, I know we’ll get fucked on by the refs.

Just drink heaps and hope Nelson and smith take each other out for some entertainment.

He iced his calf the whole second half.

Ezra has the trots. Back on Thursday:
