Great game :)

Well, i hope everyone was clever enough to follow my tip posted before the game to back the lads for a 13+ win. Hopefully you absolutely cleaned up at the tab as i certainly did :-)

As for the game, Blair was wonderful in his efforts all game. Hunt and Milford dangerous as always. Also was pleasantly surprised by Copley.

3. Blair
2. Milford
1. Kahu

Honorable mention to Hunt. He had a very hot and cold night but he was still good.

We're now alone at the top of the ladder going into Round 24. 2015 NRL Premiers? Lets fucking do this.

I think that was a great performance. Not a lot I would criticise us for, but Gould sure laid the blueprints for defeating us, which have been talking points for us regarding the line speed and giving the opposition room.

Nervous for next week, but expect us to develop our game for the finals and bring a new level of performance off the back of my what we learn from the run home.

Great game from our halves and holy shit Blair was awesome for us again, but every player did their job brilliantly tonight and glad we came away with no major injuries.

In control most of the game. Had a bit of a throw around late in the game right before the Dragons scored.
The injuries were a bit of a worry but then Jack and Macca came back.

Copley has had 3 head collisions in 3 games. He came out of this one better than Gillette of course. Hope Gillette is alright. We need his defense even if his attack has been quiet for a while.

Niko was cradling his knee. He was badly beat up last game too.

And what a difference Blair made as predicted, made some really good tackles, good offloads and definitely not lazy in the metre department, his come a long way from his time at the Tigers and earlier in the season IMO, I was mixed on his signature but I don't think anyone fair minded could deny Bennett got it right.

Good win, but I agree with Gould about conceding so many metres while in defence. Roosters, Souffs and Melbourne (with Cronk) can make us pay a lot more than the current Dragons side ever could.

Good win. Next week is the big test. Gonna need an 80 minute performance and lots of line speed

Don't care about the scorline, just happy we won and it was a much needed win. I really want a top 4 finish. However, a comprehensive win is really good. It gives the team way more confidence, especially our halves.

That's the big worry I have too. Give a class side that many opportunities close to the line and sooner than later our terrific defence will crack. As someone posted once, Bennett will adjust that strategy. I really hope so.

While Milford was great for most of the game, it seemed to me for the last 15 minutes he just virtually stopped running and almost walked into the defensive line way too often. Can't figure that out.

However, so good to see the attacking structures back in place and so well executed.

It's been a problem all season. It's why Hunt has big kicking metres because he's kicking for territory.

Post-game:

Kodi stuffed knee
Corey had ice wrapped around his left knee
Alex had his arm hanging limp
Matt with a suspected eye socket injury
Sam was limping quite badly
Jack was messed up in his scone, shoulder and leg
Lachlan has a leg injury

We got the win but at what cost?

Second game this season we've been hammered with injury.

That is quite the war wounded list. Bennett will probably give them all a few days off to rest then back to training

Not even mentioning McCullough
