Typical Wallace, doesn't matter where he plays on the field you can count on him to take the wrong option.

He was setting up the 5th tackle play to get as much width as possible.

He's a genius. The rest of us just don't think on the same level as him.

Another reason why I think the defensive structure is largely his fault. Tasi was supposed to almost a convict before he came here. There is so little aggression in our defence and even attack, it's so passive.

As for the game, we need to keep attacking down the left side. Pretty much safe to ignore the right completely.

Prince has been pretty good tonight.. Hunt has been average bar a nice bomb and a couple of decent passes, far too inconsistent for my liking though.

Forwards have been outmuscled which is a bit worrying, another low standard match, definitely a battle of two second rate sides.

It's pretty clear that the boys have little left in the tank. The enthusiasm that we once had has all but disappeared since the injury to Hodges and we're simply going through the motions out there with little direction from any of our playmakers.

If the boys want to win they need to start the second half strongly and assert themselves better in defence & with the footy. It doesn't seem like the boys are really defending with any purpose, they're just putting their bodies in the way and hope for somebody to take the legs. It isn't effective and the bigger Penrith players are bending us backwards.

We need to get one of either Hannant or McGuire back on asap. Lui & Tasi look off the pace.

This is exactly a game where Hodges would score a try from nothing and we would hang on for victory.

When has Lui ever been not "off the pace"?

Once McCullough comes on I want him to go running the ball more, his barely registered any metres tonight and its been tough enough with our forwards being out muscled, time for them to lift too.

It doesn't really have much to do with size IMO. It's mostly the momentum - ie. standing still vs having some run at you. In fact I'd say the size could have a negative impact on our fitness.
