I can tell you're an Arts student.

Herbie 2 tries.
50% of 2 = 1.
2 + 1 = 3 (use your fingers to double-check that)

Well this confirms you are Badel, you can’t understand what you yourself wrote, and I quote:

“ Coates has scored 3 in the last 2 games. That's 50% more than Herbie all season.”

Coates should be in the team, let's not all get bitter about it because he is leaving the club. We are better than that

I'm the first to admit I'm shithouse at maths these days - despite winning the senior maths prize at one of QLD's top schools, and scraping together a maths major at a sandstone university - I make basic numerical mistakes all the time. Kind of embarrassing.

But I've counted on both hands and got the same result. Perhaps you're using some kind of advanced linguistics to interpret the sentence.

Let's use this example: if you have a 2 inch penis, and your surgeon agrees to make it 50% longer, after the operation you'll have a full 3 inches. More than enough.

On the plus side, you don't need to understand primary school maths to be a top reporter.

Evidently, you also don't need to know how basic sentence comprehension works either.

Coates last two games = 3 tries.
Herbie all season = 2 tries.
50% more than 2 tries = 1.5 * 2 tries = 3 tries. <<--- HOLY SHIT

The only excuse you have is you're trolling. If so, you got me. Good one.

You can when it's their only pass of a game and you want to shift them into the spine based on talents you've never seen them display.
You can't when he doesn't get the ball to do that, There has been very few games where I thought he was being too selfish given the ball he was provided, Since you started your rant on that you have been acting as if anytime he gets the ball he doesn't pass it makes him selfish even though the vast majority of what he gets are only good for him to run on.

Not sure whether I've outright called him selfish - can't remember - but others have. My angle is he either doesn't have the instinct, or the skill set, to work with other players. He doesn't seem to naturally look to draw his opposite number and set up overlaps, that sort of thing. Stuff that centres are supposed to do. He tackles, runs at the line, makes the odd break. The energy is there. Just it never seems to result in backline movement.

I don't think he's evil or lazy. Just doesn't seem to play like a centre. I'm not blaming it all on the halves. Not since Staggs returned. He gets the ball.

1. how many times will we play the storm (including Grand Final)?

By my count, four. Two regular season (two wins to us), once first round of the finals (another win to us), and once again the big dance (a fourth win to us).

Can't really see it playing out any other way, honestly.

There has been a couple of times where I have seen him try set up Oates by attracting 2 defenders, most times don't work out though due to a multitude of factors like space left to get out the ball, Oates not being in the best position to get the ball and Herbie choosing to just go for it at the last second, but it's a little simple to just say he is a centre so he has the same ability as the other side to do the same.

No doubt Staggs is far superior in this regard because it's his best skill because of his lethal fend which gives him more opportunity's but when you have Gamble(who is our best Half at running and passing directly at the line) and backrowers like Riki and Robati giving him good ball because they have much better offload and ball ability then Glenn he will get more.

When was the last time Glenn gave him good ball? If anything Herbie has been the one to give Glenn good ball rather then how it should be going wide, and this is why I say we are just shit at moving the ball to the Left, I think this will improve next year once Glenn is gone and we go with either Capewell, Riki or Robati there but also Gamble will likely be on that side as well next season.

As it is right now I just don't think he has the ability to show anything with how we play right now, we are low on the table for a reason because we are far too one sided in attack and our options are limited, the rare times that Herbie gets space he does very well and is able to break a few tackles and get the ball out but it's rare because he doesn't get good ball in most games.

I still think he is a better winger though because he will be worth alot of points with his Speed, Size and agility but he has been given a tough Job to do anything on the Left.

To be fair, I realised I screwed up after the first post and then just went on with it, sorry bro.

Honestly, I have no idea if he'd be better in another position, only that he's been given 19 games in the centres this year (and almost switched to fullback) and really didn't grow into the position. I think Kevvie has persevered with him at centre because he puts in 100% and doesn't make glaring fuckups. Whereas he got the shits with Jamayne because despite him being mostly okay at the back, and sometimes awesome, he also managed to do something idiotic every game.

I don't rate Jesse Arthars at all but he's been a more productive all round centre than Herbie. Conversely, if I kept one it would be Herbie. Maybe, like Jamayne, he might be an exquisitely lathed square peg in a board full of round holes. At least the pair of them, unlike Milford, bust their guts on the field.

I imagine part of the reason why Kevvie has persisted with Herbie is because there is definitely some x-factor buried in there, and he has demonstrated he is an elusive broken-field runner on a few occasions (often without nailing the final option, unfortunately). But as others have also alluded to, I wonder if part of the the reason is also looking ahead to 2022 and knowing there will be better players inside him, and getting him the experience and some stability on that edge prior to those changes will hopefully pay dividends once that all eventuates.

So basically what I'm saying is 2022 Clive Churchill medallist, guaranteed. Check out the market early.

Can't see Broncos winning this one. We will come close, but I foresee the same script running as we saw the last few weeks. Odds are closer than last week, but we are still not tipped to win this despite improvements

Pray for me boys, anyone but Milford or Coates 😏

We better win now
