It's going to be pissing down rain so I don't know what they will be doing except sitting in their rooms watching Judge Judy reruns. Broncs fortunate the weather is clearing by Sunday. You don't want rain bringing an inferior team into the game.

I thought 3.60 was a big price for the Knights but it's been getting out steadily all week. Knights I reckon have 1 big effort left in them for the season and you would think it would come at home

We have a lot of players out but Newcastle has their entire side out in Ponga.

This is proven to be correct.

You can never take a performance where a team plays like a complete basket case and then line it up against our side and think "oh yeah, we will put 50 on them". Dolphins got absolutely walloped and were competitive with us for most of that game last week.

It's about starting fresh and not being complacent. Also, no, we can't be resting anyone. This is the NRL, anyone can beat anyone on any given day and if you're about 5-10% off, you'll get flogged.

We'll be training at Maitland Sportsground and we'll also be having an opposed session with the Maitland Pickers who are 3-time premiers in the local comp in Newcastle.

Pickers taking full advantage of having a side like the Broncos down there advertising the opposed session and calling for locals to flock in to watch.

I hope that the players use the fact that they could find themselves in the top 4 at the end of this round as extra motivation to win this game.
 
Yup, pending other results go our way, we could potentially land on the top 4 spot.

In addition to that, BHunts 350th game too & I’m sure that would make our guys extra motivated to put a very good display. In saying that, I would probably promote Talty into starting 13 and start Patty off the bench for obvious reasons:
1. It’s Talty home region so he would be pumped up to put on a great show &
2. For once, Patty can have lesser load to deal with physically which, he needs.

The big concern is that by the time we play we will know the lay of the land.

I'm not sure we have the mental strength to put that aside and just play to win regardless.

It's been our downfall for a while now.

Oh poor Patty .
He`s playing poorly give him a rest . Those few weeks of origin when he played 1 game every 2 weeks from the bench, then a cpl of bye weekends off weren`t enough for him to freshen up .
He should retire . LOL .

Anything to make Warriors annoyed works for us 😀. Would you believe that in their last 5 meetings, Tits have won 4? Let’s hope they continue their trend & help our cause 😜.

In saying that though, nothing should be taken for granted by our guys & they should exist Hunter region gracefully & victorious.
