And just so we're clear I'm a long term Boyd supporter. But the teams performances over this season have masked his decline.

I think the Origin I debacle and having to step aside to Billy has affected his confidence and effectiveness in attack ever since...

Horrible evening, whatever chance the Broncos had of taking on Melbourne is well and truly in tatters. The Eels showed they were the real deal and the Broncos simply don't have the capacity to play under pressure.

kinda think you got it mixed up. not saying your wrong about his confidence but his attack has been as good as it has ever been its his effort in defense thats leaving alot to be desired. but going on tonights performance thats basicly the whole team

And that is what exactly? He put in a great kick only for the defense to let it down. He is not in the team for his defense, so he is getting to miss tackles unfortunately. So what exactly didn't he do? Was he dropping the ball on every kick return? Was he dropping every pass? Was he gifting Parramatta tries like his captain and co-captain were?

They scored 30+ points, what the heck else do you want your halves to do?
