We're right back to the start of the season, where the forwards look promising, we can come up with some nice attacking plays when we get the opportunity, but we're so fucking batshit idiotic when it comes to ball-handling, possession, and field position that we just brain-fart our way to an insipid loss. We have the best pack in the game, but we won't win shit while we're just so fucking mentally lazy.

I agree and the players don’t seem to be hurting as much as us. Maybe they haven’t realised they have lost.

Part of me really wants to hope and believe that tonight’s performance was just poor attitude from the young guys not showing up because they think ‘we’ve already made the finals’ and treated this game as a bit of a walkthrough not wanting to be injured before finals next week ... the other part of me knows we’ve seen this rubbish all year.

Real shame, a win tonight would have put us up against an understrength and faltering Manly side next week, instead we now have to go face the Eels at home in a match I’m sure none of us are looking forward to.

If I was a betting man I’d be putting some money on Fergo and Sivo having a field day down our flanks.... gives me the chills just thinking about it.

Ok, seibs has had a year with the team but IMO we have not shown improvement on field as a team. Yes some players have developed but i would attribute that more to player maturation rather than any coaching.

- all year we have failed to enter games with a game plan (other than an U/8s strategy of throw it to someone and hope that they do something good)
- we have no set plays or this "structure" seibold refers to.
- we play with no depth and players are not running on to the ball. Could you imagine how well our forward pack would go if they came running from the back fence rather than a standing start?
- we appear to play in slow motion.
- we have no defensive structure or strategy and our defence is as brittle as ever.
- we cant control the ruck.
- continually selecting people that are ill suited for that position (perfect example being turpin at half. All of Broncos HQ could see turpin was a defensive liability in the halves. Our right side had been ok but tonight was pathetic.)

I could go on, but couldnt be stuffed. What a waste of a season.

At least Seibs has given Fifi, Dearden, Haas, Turpin (albeit in the wrong position) and Staggs some quality game time this year. The club needs to make some big decisions over the off season: Macca and Boyd can't be in the spine next year if we're serious about winning a comp.

Whilst i agree with some roster changes. In terms of our onfield performance (not just execution but the appearance of no plan or structure) it has been woeful.

Games we have won have often been won via individual efforts, not particularly because the team played well.

FFS, Seibold has done me this week. Why the **** are we persisting with this Macca at 9 and Turpin at 7 with Boyd at 6 crap? Between Boyd, Macca and Milf we have 2.1 Million of our cap tied up, and they didnt deliver shit tonight. This shit is just damaging to the current squad, and from the meltdowns the supporters also.

I've always thought 'why do we always rush our fifth tackle plays' especially when we haven't won the ruck wrestle on the fifth hitup. I'd rather see a slower and thus better controlled set up. Being in a hurry every single time leads to poor placement and execution in 50% of cases.

That's a cop out excuse IMO. The performance was horrific and as far as "playing for something" - we are a young team that needs momentum and confidence. We should've been looking at 7th spot and energising ourselves with a potential Souths clash a fortnight away.
Our club doesn't deserve finals this year. So let's see if the Tigers / Cronulla game ends tied up and then we will see what they had to play for...
