All I'm hoping for this game is to stay competitive and match it with storm, seeing as there not really that in form as they were a few weeks back we could upset them but very hard to do in Melbourne.

Last couple signs for the Broncos have been great. Especially the respect between the playing group is back. And Parker seems to finally picked up where he left off from the start of the season in terms of being a captain. The way he pulled young Pangai JR after the error off the kick off showed great leadership. Than for him to get up after the Kasiano incident and the boys to go all out war each tackle for there captain. Could our run to the Grand Final start if we turn up next weekend?

Don't expect as many gift errors as we got from the dogs, and the Storm have two of the coolest heads in the game to keep them steady under pressure.

Defend like we did and the attack will come.

Hopefully Nikorima is back, I don't like how we're using Arrow off the bench, I think we're completely wasting him, and wasting the spot on the bench. If he's in the team he should be starting and playing 60 minutes, not coming off the bench for 10 minutes, he's not that type of player.

I'm not all that concerned if we lose this game, as long as we remain competitive for the 80 and at least give Melbourne a scare. It's most important that we escape from this game without any injuries or suspensions. We need to continue to defend well and build attacking confidence. Winning 9-in-a-row to win the title is a lot harder than winning 5-in-a-row.

Our game in Melbourne last year defined our season. If we can get our defense back to that level (and Bulldog game is a great step) it'll go a long way for our final chances.

Lots to play for the Broncos. That defensive effort last night against the biggest pack in the game... Huge confidence booster.

Storm win and they might have the minor premiership locked up (if the Roosters can beat the Sharks next week). Otherwise, the week 26 showdown for the minor premiership (Storm v Sharks) will be a cracking pre-finals game... Hoepfulyl Storm have one eye on that prize.

If we beat the Storm at AAMI two weeks before the finals....... my little heart will start believing again. Beating the probable minor premiers going into finals..

I just loved the way we won last night, we played wide, we shifted the Bulldogs big boys. That decision to go for 6 at 4-4 going into half time... and for Ben Hunt to make the big play... Then the 5 sets back to back weathered in the first half. Then Hunt forcing a mistake... This could be the moment we look back in history and say, that, right there, was when the tide turned.

Like the win against the Warriors in round 24 at home in 2006.

God yes, that was unbelieveable

That tackle from Parcell. God we had some depth last year... Parcell and Taylor just sitting there playing QCUP

Something eerily similar watching those highlights - the try that went from one side of the field back to the other followed by a soft try from not marking up which is exactly what happened last night.

deadset absolute favourite game of the post 2009 era (bar 2011 semi.. hope Catiano comes back to kick Beale in the fucking face)

pains me to say but the Storm qldrs, take nothing away from their achievements, are god damn grubs.. not Reynolds level, and dont whinge like JT, still, unlikely as a win here would be id love nothing more than to subject these arse hats to 80 mins of what the Bull-cats wore btwn the 77th & 80th minute last night

I'm making a bold claim here..

If we win this, we'll be premiers this year.

A win against Storm in Melbourne will give us the confidence and self belief we need to go all the way.

I believe this too. Lets hope Wayne's jubilance in the box last night when Thaiday scored was him knowing that we've got them where we want them.

How good is it seeing Sammy playing decent footy? Maybe he just needed his favoured starting left edge role back. If Sam keeps playing like this, we won't have room for Glenn anymore unfortunately.

Glenn is killing it on the bench as well though

For sure, but it's not a long term option, he's too good to be a bench player, and we need bigger bodies than that on the bench for next season.
