Any call that goes our way, doesn’t even matter if it’s correct, instantly becomes the narrative for why the opposition lost.

I’ve said many times, we usually end up getting the calls (or non-calls) we shouldn’t, but never get the blatantly obvious ones.

Helps perpetuate the PenaltyBroncos nonsense, when in reality those 2 or 3 bad calls are the only ones we get while getting 8 or 9 blown against us

Have to maintain your balance when you play the ball.

However they missed Laybutt's interference in the ruck.

It would have been challenged if Kotoni didn't waste it.
How do you maintain your balance with someone ankle tapping you? Shocking penalty. No way you could miss that...

That was absolutely filthy. I'll say similar to what I said last week and that is we lack urgency and the 1% plays. Even players pushing up with the ball carrier are few and far between (Hunt blew up over that a few times).

Every other top 8 coach just watched that and devised the perfect he plan to beat us. "Just let them beat themselves". Until we can defend our mistakes, I think any team that can complete 80% will be happy just grinding a game agaisnt us knowing we'll eventually give up possession and field position and can't defend it.

Anyway you've gotta be in it to win in. And we're still in it. If there's one thing on our side, i think you can throw a blanket over the top 8.

Like I said, if the Broncos had have kept the challenge the replay would have saved them. However live with so much going on Klein had to make a call and likely wasn't in an ideal position to make it. It's the type of call you get away with when the opposition blows their challenge.

Yeah top 8 is more than secured

I've watched the Billy try.

I'm looking at Gem's hands and the motion with his pass and I'm here thinking, that doesn't look forward from the hands. It's not clear with the angles they have on it, it would be nice to have another angle that's clearer but I think that's a 50/50 one at worst.

Forget about where Billy gets the ball, it doesn't matter one bit.

Anyone know what flight the boys will be on tomorrow. We stuck around after the game to get the kids some autographs but they just took off up the tunnel.

Forget about where Billy gets the ball, it doesn't mif it looks forward it’s forward
You could probably say that about every forward pass ever

I thought it was backwards out of his hands, it looks worse than it actually is, which is why the video ref doesn’t rule on forward passes. It’s certainly not the blatant forward pass it’s been made out to be, and definitely not the game defining call some shitney morons have made it out to be.

They copped a pasting from Madge in the sheds despite having the lead, I daresay they didn't think too much tomfoolery with the fans would be the best idea.

I guess you could say they want their players to have played so they aren’t rusty or something like that
If we were playing Saturday or Sunday Storm would rest a few. I think the 2v3 game is Saturday?
Instead we get a short turn around off travelling against a best possible Storm

IMO the Friday night game will 100% be Storm v Dogs.

Raiders play the Fins on Sunday. There's 0 chance the NRL are going to give Canberra a 5 day turnaround.

Storm should rest a few anyway. There is no logic to playing full strength except for Bellamy just wanting to beat us. Literally all risk for no gain.
